Wedding Wednesday chronicles my wedding journey from now until August 17! I’ll talk about my own wedding planning, cool bookish weddings and just things that inspire me!
Our Save The Dates are done!! Fellow blogger, friend and seriously crazy talented graphic designer (who also did my business cards!) Katie did them for us and they are PERFECT and exactly our style! I am so excited to see them in person!!
While we were looking for ideas for Save the Dates we liked I came across some awesome bookish Save the Dates that would be perfect for any bookworm that is tying the knot! We didn’t go with anything bookish because, well, as I’ve said before Will is just not the bookish type.
Love the idea of using book pages or in this case pages from the dictionary for Save the Dates.
I love the idea of doing a bookmark for a Save the Date! I’ve seen quite a few of them! And think it is such a practical idea too…I mean who can’t use another bookmark!
These comic book themed Save the Dates are the most epic things I’ve ever seen.
Have you seen any cool bookish Save the Dates? What do you think of these?

I really like your save the date and I love the bookmark one.
I hope you don't mind if I ask you a question. In my religious culture, most engagement last only between 2-6 months, usually more around the 3-month mark. My engagement was only two months long. I can't imagine having an engagement for over a year. Does it seem long to you? Or, is it just a normal feeling for you?
Bookmarks! That is such a cute idea! If I marry a bookworm like me we are totally doing that.
And thanks for the mention, lovely!<3
Your save the date looks lovely! And how awesome is it that Will has III behind his name?

I was going to write "very cute STD", as in 'save the date' but then decided against it for obvious reasons. It definitely IS cute though
! The bookmarks are also a neat idea. Have to keep those in mind

GAH You are getting married August 17!! That is when I got married! Yay!
And your save the dates are adorable.
Soooo cute!!
I love the save the dates. And as far as Will not being bookish, after 10+ years of marriage not a non-reader, my only advice to you is to keep tossing books that may interest him his way. I have managed to get my husband to listen to audio books, read books about food and travel books. And somehow, someway Harry Potter. It was a fight, but I refuse to be with someone who doesn't read at all.
What fun and unique bookish ideas! Katie did an awesome job on yours! I love the bookmarks and the library ones too.
Love it! We did bookmarks for our save the dates, couldn't resist being an avid reader myself.. ^_^
