I feel like I haven’t been to very many bookish events in a while aside from the Brooklyn Book Fest which was awesomesauce so I’m really excited about these events coming up. So, if you feel like hitting up the Philadelphia burbs for some book signings around the Philadelphia area…let me know! I’ll more than likely be going to all of these unless circumstances prevent it.
October 13 – AS King book signing in West Chester, PA: She’ll be signing for Everybody Sees The Ants which I’ve been wanting to read!
October 25: Lauren Oliver book signing in Haverford, PA: I’ve met Lauren before at the Brooklyn Book Festival last year but I’m even more excited to get to talk to her perhaps a little more. I’ve been planning on reading the ARC I got of it at BEA real soon and now I have a reason to do it even sooner! AND it is 10 days after my birthday!
November 1: Amy Garvey book signing in West Chester, PA: I’m going to get real familiar with Chester County Books and Music Company since they are having so many good events! At Harper breakfast at BEA, the publicists were raving about this book so I’m excited to read it..especially because it is a STANDALONE. Holllerrr.
November 7: Sara Shephard book signing in West Chester, PA: I’ve already been able to meet Sara (WHO IS AWESOME!) but I’m really excited to get a copy of her adult novel signed.
And the last one is on November 9th also at Chester County Books. It’s for Beth Kephart (You Are My Only) but I only see it posted on her site and not the site of the venue so I’m still checking into this one.
What are some events you are attending in October/November??
