March’s Most Wanted

I know I always highlight upcoming releases in my Catalog Creepin’ posts but typically those are far off. I wanted to highlight the releases for the month I’m most excited about (and you me actually remember about them). In my “Most Wanted” posts I’ll highlight a handful I’m excited to and the categories will be at random and different probably every time depending on what I feel like.

A Contemporary Pick

I haven’t really seen much about OCD, The Dude & Me one but I’ve been so intrigued about it every since I received a copy! Sounds different!

A Science Fiction Pick

Artificial intelligence?? YES PLEASE. I’ve heard that this is a fun and action packed one!

A Paranormal Pick

You all know I’m a very sporadic paranormal reader but this came in the mail and I read the back and I was like “HOLD THE PHONES. A GENIE? DING DING DING I WILL READ THIS” Maybe it’s my love for Aladdin or maybe I’m just excited for something different but HECK YES.

A Mystery

I’m so intrigued by this one. I’ve heard it is kind of intense. When I got the ARC in the mail I kind of those it was like a dystopian or paranormal or something until I read the back and it’s about a girl who gets kidnapped.

March Releases I’ve Read:
10594356Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt (so cute! Review to come!)
Requiem by Lauren Oliver (The last book in the Delirium series…here’s my review)

So guys, which ones have you read? Which ones are you excited for? What are some other March releases you are looking forward to? And for the love of puppies, please tell me which ones I should read FIRST?

About Jamie

Jamie is a 32 year old married lady (with a new baby!!) who is in denial that she's actually that old to be a married lady and a mom. When she's not reading you can find her doing Pilates followed by eating ice cream, belting out Hamilton (loud and offkey) and having adventures with her husband, daughter and rescue dog.

  1. I just read MILA 2.0 but to me it was a bit average, didn’t really stand out. I’m SO EXCITED for The Art of Wishing though! The concept sounds so cool and the cover is adorable!! I hope you like it! I’m also looking forward to Poison by Bridget Zinn, it sounds pretty good 🙂

  2. I am so, so excited for Going Vintage! I’ve wanted to read it for months and just got it from NetGalley. I also really want to read Pretty Girl-13, but it sounds pretty intense. I’m going to have to wait until I’m in the right mood to pick it up.

  3. I read MILA 2.0 and, to be honest, was a bit letdown. I had SUCH HIGH EXPECTATIONS – I mean, come on, girl discovers she’s actually a military-grade robot and finds herself on the run from the government?? How could it be anything but awesome!

Unfortunately, it was just okay. The action/fight scenes were really well done, but apart from that, I just couldn’t get into it. The Mean Girls made my eyes roll and Mila’s odd obsession with a boy she had only spoken to a few times was confusing. In a few life-or-death situations (literally), Mila’s thoughts turn to Hunter. If someone has been shot, your thoughts should immediately turn to getting that person help, not some random boy’s lopsided smile.

Perhaps this was an instance of ‘it’s not you, it’s me,’ but Mila 2.0 was a disappointment. 🙁 Hopefully you’ll enjoy it more than I did!

  4. I’m looking forward to reading OCD, The Dude and Me. The synopsis had me interested right away, and I’m hoping it’s the perfect mix of serious and light. (If that even makes sense?) Pretty Girl-13 sounds so incredibly intense, I love reading mysteries, and I’m super excited for this one as it’s more psychological and not a murder mystery. I’m also eager to read Requiem, but I probably won’t read it in March because I don’t want the series to end just yet!

  5. I’m going to go with the obvious here, but I can’t wait wait wait to get my hands on Requiem. I feel like I’ve been teased and waiting for way too long!

  6. Natalie says:

The Art of Wishing and Pretty Girl-13 are definitely the two I’m most excited about for this month!! I’m not a huuuuge paranormal fan, but The art of Wishing actually captured my interest. And Pretty Girl-13 sounds great! I love a good mystery.

  7. Mila 2.0 looks so epic! And that cover is absolutely gorgeaus! Great Picks Jamie 🙂

  8. I’ve been dying for two months now to read Mila 2.0 (the novella/sneak peak chapters didn’t help). Ever since Cinder came out, I’ve been waiting for a robot/cyborg book to come out that plays on similar themes.

  9. Ohhh I haven’t even heard of The Art of Wishing! I’m reading Going Vintage right now! Super cute!!!

  10. I can’t wait for Mila 2.0 and Pretty Girl-13. They both sound reallyyyyyy good.

  11. I’m very much so looking forward to OCD, The Dude and Me. It sounds very much so like an Ashley book.

  12. I am so freakin’ far behind. And like, my sister is on my tail for me to read Requiem but I just am so OCD about series formats that I have to listen to it via audiobook which means waiting until release date.
AND I have alllll of these books on my TBR pile. Physically. All of them. Except Going Vintage, that one is on Netgalley. But still.

I’m most pumped for The Art Of Wishing and oh oh it’s not on here, but 17 And Gone by Nova Ren Suma.

  13. I’m excited for The Art of Wishing, Going Vintage, and Requiem that is on your list. The Art of Wishing and Going Vintage summary sounds really cute. I’m actually kind of scared to finish Requiem because that means the series will really be over and that’ll make me sad. On the other hand, I’m dying to find out who Lena will end up with Alex or Julian.

As for which to read first, pick whichever one you feel like reading most first and that interest you the most. ^_^I don’t think that was helpful…sorry!

  14. Dude, I REALLY liked The Art of Wishing. It’s a lot of fun, and I think you will enjoy it too. 🙂

  15. I’m pretty intrigued by Mila 2.0 and not just because of that gorgeous cover. I’ve been having great luck with sci-fi lately, so I hope it’ll help me continue the streak!
