April In One Word
SUNSHINE!
5 Things That Happened In April:
1. Will and I found our new favorite brunch spot where we got red velvet pancakes and chicken & waffles eggs Benedict. I WILL TAKE YOU HERE IF YOU COME VISIT ME!
2. Found out if my sister was having a boy or a girl and….she’s having a girl!! Genevieve gets to be a big sis!
3. Our car got broken into — WOMP WOMP. I’m still really angry about it! I did some sleuthing but nothing panned out like I hoped.
4. I read outside A LOT. We had a week of 80 degree weather (followed by weeks of rain and 40 degree weather lol).
5. I had a really fun girl’s weekend that I REALLY need while Will was away! Nice to catch up with old friends & get to know new ones better.

Ohhh chicken and waffle eggs benedict sounds so delicious! I want to make my own version of it now! I hope you have an awesome time at BEA Jamie 🙂
My cousin got married in April which was probably the light of my month even though I didn’t get to go for the ceremony :). Other than that I got to read some good books as well. Oh and I baked and cooked alot which was fantastic.
And I talked about Diversity in YA and the New Adult Genre so that was really awesome to get a discussion going about that.
I hope you have a wonderful May!

I love these posts of yours. Also, I’m still sorry for being a snarky ass on your one post this month. I STILL feel bad about that.

I do a wrap up post each month too, but this one is really fun. I might have to add a quote or pic like this in mine if you don’t mind (I’ll link up of course!) Congrats on the baby news! That’s so exciting! My two friends are pregnant and we still have a few months until we find out genders, but it’s so exciting! Hope May is just as great for you.

I just read Eleanor and Park because of your post about it! I’m not sure that I loved it as much as you did but it was def a good one…still thinking about it a couple weeks later so that must be a good sign 😀

Red velvet pancakes sound delicious. And your polka dot dress is so cute!
If it weren’t for all the bugs (and me getting sunburnt easily), I’d be reading outside too!

April sounds like it was pretty awesome for you! We’re just now getting decent weather here in WA, hitting the 80s today and yesterday after blah and rainy 60 degree weather!
Eleanor & Park sounds SO good!! Can’t wait to read that one!
