  1. What an amazing giveaway. I seriously need to read Cinder and This Song Will Save Your Life already. Hope I win! ;)

    • I loved BOTH of them!! *crosses fingers for you* I WISH I COULD JUST BE LIKE OPRAH AND BE LIKE … “a prize pack for YOU…a prize pack for YOU…everyone gets prize packs!!!”

  2. I do have a question for Marissa Meyer: How much research (if ANY) went into your fairy tale retellings? Especially for the world building.

  3. I hope I win. :) I can’t wait to hear about the blog stop! Can’t wait to hear about it. :)

  4. Love your blog! Love to read!!! Thanks for all the fantastic recommendations!!!

  5. I agree with Trina–this is an amazing giveaway! I’ve never read any of these books, but I’ve been dying to read the majority of them.

I wish there was a Fierce Reads tour stop near me!

    • I just recently read This Song Will Save Your Life and it was FAB! And Cinder actually blew my mind that I liked it bc I TOTALLY didn’t think it would be my thing!!

I got lucky with a tour stop this time! Sometimes we get passed over and it makes me sad. Hopefully next season they will come near you!

  6. That’s so exciting – Congratulations, Jamie! :D I hope you have a wonderful time and I can’t wait to hear all about it!

I do have a couple of questions, if you have the time to ask them:
For Leila Sales – If she could listen to only five songs for the rest of her life, which would they be and why?
For Alexandra Coutts – If she knew the world were ending tomorrow, what are three things that she would want to do before it ended?

    • AWESOME questions. Def using them!! This is so fun! I was like “Hmm I wonder if I let my readers help me interview them if they will be down for that?” so YAY! I came up with questions already but yours are better hahah

  7. OMG this is the best giveaway ever. I read Cinder over the summer and I LOVED IT SO MUCH. (I actually read it because I saw it on this very blog!) I’m so so so enchanted by her worldbuilding. I wanna know why she picked a neo-imperial China for her setting (is Cinderella originally a Chinese/Eastern story? Was it just a stroke of genius? Is there something about China that works particularly well for the story?)

  8. i really want to read all of these books but especially leila sales’ new novel. i have great things about it with all the awesome music

  9. WOW!! That is a seriously amazing pile of books!!! If I were there I think I would try and ask them what the most awkward moment they have had since becoming an author is…

I know it’s not amazing but I have loved the answers authors give :)

  10. I hope that someday some YA book tour will make the rounds by me. *fingers crossed* That is exciting news that you get to interview the authors before their event! Also, this is a fantastic prize pack and I’ve been meaning to read these all. Thanks for this giveaway and I hope you have a wonderful time seeing these authors! :)

I always want to know the different advice that a published author has for writers, and I always like to know what their different methods are.

  14. Cool contest!!

  15. Awesome giveaway – thank you for the opportunity! :-)

  16. Steph McLain says:

If I win these will be donated to an auction for an animal shelter!

  18. Awesome giveaway! Thank you!!!!!!

  19. Wow! Great giveaway!! My question to each author would be if they could only carry one book with them during the apocalypse, which book would you take?

  20. So excited, I’ve been dying for Leila Sale’s book.

  21. Would love this for me…I mean my classroom library. ;)

  22. So incredibly jealous of you, Jamie! There seems to never be any big tours like this near me. I did find out that the second leg of the Fierce Reads tour will be about 2 hours away, however, but I haven’t read any of those books in the series so I probably won’t go. This first leg has some awesome people! Did you read THE COMPOUND? I read it when it first came out back in 2008 and am so incredibly excited about THE FALLOUT. I’ve heard that THIS SONG WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE was amazing and am looking forward to reading it eventually. This is a great set of books so thank you for hosting the giveaway! Can’t wait to see your post about the tour! Have fun!!

  23. This Song Will Save Your Life is amazing! And I’m super excited to meet Marissa Meyer myself in a couple of weeks at Wordstock in Portland. I’m pretty eager to read Tumble & Fall because I’ve heard so many mixed reviews of it, I want to see for myself.

  25. Great giveaway!

  26. Only US. Whyyyy? :(

  38. Awesome! Thanks for the giveaway :)

  39. Woo-hoo! I always enter these giveaways thinking I’ll never win- but ya never know! =) Lets see a question… I would ask the authors if they ever have characters come to them in a dream, and if they do, do they feel more strongly about the characters that come to them in that form, than they do if they just sit around and brainstorm them up?

    Thanks!

  40. What a great giveaway! I really need to get on with reading Cinder because it looks fabulous and I’ve heard such great things about it. My TBR pile is becoming obnoxious, really.

Unfortunately Fierce Reads isn’t stopping in Las Vegas. :( Ah, typical.

    I like turtles.

  46. What a great giveaway! I’ve been wanting to read Cinder for the longest time (even checking it out at the library) but I had to return it before I got to read it. And I HAVE to read This Song Will Save Your Life after all of the awesome reviews I’ve been reading!

  47. So jealous of you right now! Really wish I could go to this tour, but it’s just a smidge too far away. :(

  48. I have been wanting to read Tumble & Fall and This Song Will Save My Life. Thanks for the “fierce giveaway”
