A perfectly chilly thriller for winter in a thriller set during a snowstorm! I am really quite enjoying that subset of thrillers – wintry thrillers??
A true crime writer, on a solo writing retreat, is snowed in at the isolated farmhouse writing about a crime that happened at the farmhouse twenty years later. As the storm is raging she discovers a little boy outside in the snow and she brings him in from the cold and tries to figure out where he came from but he’s not talking. It becomes clear, as time goes on, that the farmhouse isn’t as isolated as she thought it was.
