Do you get paid to blog?

I do make money from my Amazon affiliate links (thanks to those who purchase if I’ve convinced you to read a book!) and the advertisements on my sidebar. It helps me pay for giveaways, maintenance of this blog, hosting fees, conferences, etc. Not enough to quit my day job!

 How many books do you read per year?

That’s hard to pinpoint! I read A LOT less than other book bloggers simply because I feel very unbalanced in life when I’m reading more than I do anything else. I’m also a mood reader so I could go for a week without reading or I could finishing two books in one day. I’d say I read around 60-90 books on average per year.

I want to have a self hosted blog on WordPress…which hosting do you recommend?

I currently use Bluehost which I do recommend and have used since I started self hosting. Like any service, there are always good and bad experiences and occasional down time but I feel like my experience has been good and they are ALWAYS super responsive and helpful when I’ve had to contact them.

Are you accepting books for review?

Yes, I am currently. Please refer to my review request policy and list of things I’m interested in. Emails that clearly do not take a look at that will be discarded so please do take a look at that to save us both time!

Where’d you get all those books you review?

Sometimes I receive books for review consideration (I will disclose that), sometimes I buy them and sometimes I get them from the library.

What’s your policy on working with publishers/brands/companies for a sponsored post or partnership?

I’m open to it if it is a good fit! I’m selective about what I would choose to be on this site and also what I will feature. You can check out my disclosure policy here.
