I was just wondering if there is any way you could have a random button for reviews. I think it would be a fun way to flip through your reviews.
Jamie says
Thank you for the suggestion! I have now added a place on the right hand side where you are able to see random reviews! 🙂

Hi Jamie,
I just wanted to say thank you for the fabulous book reviews! I am one of those people who live in fear of not having a good book to read before bed every night and your blog has helped me out so much! I keep a running list of books to read that you’ve blogged about and it’s so fun to be able to read reviews from someone with similar tastes in books! Thanks so much!

Hi Jamie,
Just finished reading your beginnings and endings post and I think the quote you sited from John Green was actually the beginning of his “Paper Towns”, not “Looking for Alaska” which I only know because I just finished reading Towns. Thanks! hope you are enjoying your vacation!

I love your blog so much, it’s my all-time favourite. It actually inspired me to start my own blog, which I did, about 10 minutes ago. I was wondering if you had any tips for new bloggers that might help me?

Hey Jamie!
First of all, I love your blog, your are amazing!
Also, I’ve been thinking about starting my own book blog but I’m worried about adding in pictures (e.g. photos from google) because of the copyright issues. How do you handle this on your blog?
I’d be really grateful to hear back from you, you are such an inspiration!
Jamie says
Thanks for the sweet words <3
I either use my own (pictures or make my own graphics) or find pics through Creative Commons (and credit appropriately). On occasion I'll buy an stock image! I think Rachel at Parajunkee has a series on finding pics for your blog if you want to check that out!

LOVE your blog!! I like the variety of your posts and your book suggestions seem to be in line with my ‘likes’!
I was just curious if you have ever attended a book expo or literature conference and wanted your thoughts on if they are worth a trip. There is one outside of Chicago put on by Anderson’s book shop (12th annual YA Literature Conference) which takes place in October and I am tempted to go but looking for someone to tell me its the right type of adventure! Any thoughts? I know BEA is HUGE and quite the experience but not living anywhere near NYC makes it quite a book splurgy weekend…like beyond what my pocketbook allows!
Thanks!!
Jamie says
Why thank you!! <3
I've been to Book Expo 5x and I've done ALA as well as RT Convention along with some smaller type conferences/expos for books! Totally worth it! You get to meet other book lovers and authors and learn about new books! It's great! And pssst BEA is in Chicago this coming year so if you love the YA Lit Conference then definitely look into it!
Ashley says
Love your blog! I’m a huge reader and and reading your blog has definitely helped to pull me out of reading slumps as everything you write just inspires me.
I am curious though, do you review everything that you finish? Or are there some books that don’t really fit in with your readership that you don’t review.
Thanks for all you do!!!
May the books be with you!
Jamie says
Thank you for the kind words!! I *typically* review everything I finish but sometimes if I have nothing to say about it I won’t. Sometimes I’ll just do a “What I’ve Been Reading” post so I won’t have to actually review it but just talk about the fact I read it. Or like if I read something super specific (for example a non-fiction dog training book) I won’t review that haha.
Megan says
I adore your book blog. I’m a book worm and a big reader too. I cant wait to read all of your reviews and add even more books to my overflowing to-read book list!!!
I really like all of the different things included in your blog. Book reviews (well of course), retail therapy, discussions, lists and more. Im curious….do you come up with random discussion questions or things you’re curious about and then post them? And for your lists, how do you come up with all of those fun interesting posts? I will definitely continue following your blog. I love it!!
Jamie says
THank you so much!! And yeah I pretty much just posts whatever comes into my head haha. I get ideas at the most random times!

Hey Jamie! Was wondering if you are going to do a book review on Champion, by Marie Lu! I read the first two books and FREAKING LOVED IT LIKE DAY OH MY LORD but am really nervous about reading the final installment because WHAT IF ITS NOT EVERYTHING AND MORE??? so yeah haha just hoping you could do a review on that book because I’m really scared to read it and I need someone else’s opinion!
P.S. I love your blog xx

Hi Jamie,
I came across your website on pinterest. I love books especially adult fiction. I greatly enjoyed reading about the 37 anticipated books for 2018. I have bookmarked some of the books you recommended.
I am curious though whether your giveaways will be eligible in Canada.
Jamie says
Thank you for the kind words! Sometimes my giveaways are! It all depends — sometimes the publishers have restrictions on where they can ship the prize so I am kind of tied to that. But sometimes they do US AND Canada. I’m always sure to put the details so you know! For the giveaways I do on my own I typically open it to Canada!

Jamie,
I love your blog…it’s awesome and entertaining. Congratulations on the baby! I was wondering if i could use the idea of if we were having coffee” type blog post for my blog. It wouldn’t be exactly like yours but i like the idea of it. Please let me know
Thanks!
Jamie says
Thank you! And absolutely!

Hey Jamie! Tried emailing you but couldn’t get it to work!
Quick question!
I’m running a fantasy promo for free/pre-order discount/countdown deals. I have a few blogs who are wanting in on spreading the word in exchange that their blog/website be hosted on the landing page as well. Would this interest you? All you have to do is post/blog the banner and url to your followers. Let me know 🙂

I have got to say that the photo of you holding your baby with your dog next to you is a treasure. The look on the baby’s face, the look on the dog’s face, they are obviously communicating with each other. That picture is worth a few thousand words.
Jamie says
This site needs to be taken down. It is a copy of mine and my picture along with my daughter is on here and I am NOT okay with that. I will be taking the appropriate legal action if you do not resolve this.
