6th Annual End Of Year Survey – 2015 edition!!

2015-end-of-year-book-survey-1024x984

My silly little survey I created for myself to highlight what I read in 2010 suddenly grew when a bunch of others jumped in and has turned into such a fun end of year event that I have LOVED hosting and has made my TBR list grow crazily! Seriously, 360 people linked up last year and I know even more participated on their blogs and on Youtube!! So without further ado: the 6th annual End of Year Book Survey!

I know the year isn’t over yet but, as I said in year’s past, this is the time I start reflecting on what I’ve read and start looking ahead because I NEVER get much reading done during December with the holidays and what not! I’ll be filling mine out soon (I know I said that last year and never did but I have motivation this year…last year I was just DONE with all the things) but I’ll be revising if I happen to read something absolutely earth shattering that would need to be on here!

So feel to fill this out whenever you feel like it (please credit me!)…whether that’s today or in January   — I know everybody will want to reflect at different points! Feel free to link up and share your End of Year Book Survey and visit others on the list!

Note: The survey is for books you read throughout the year, no matter when they were published, and is not limited to just books that came out in 2014!!

  1. I love this ides! I will definitely do up a post a little later in the month.

  2. Yay! It’s that time of year again to take a step back and reflect on the books read this year. I’ll probably fill mine out in January. Have a very happy holiday, Jamie! See you in 2016!

  6. Yay, I’m excited! This will be my first time participating. Don’t even know why I never did before.

(pssst, “Blogging Life” is missing #6! ;D)

  7. Just a little note: on the my blogging/bookish life section you are missing number 6 – maybe your numbering went wrong and you meant to have only 9 questions, or maybe you missed one? Just wanted to give you a shout if there actually is a missing 6th question 🙂
Thanks for this – I already started to think about my answers and I cannot wait to read through what other bloggers come up with!

  8. I cannot wait to fill this out! I will be saving this and posting my answers later on this month! I’m going to at least try and read some more this month! 🙂
Thanks for bringing this back!! <3
    xo Steph

  9. Yay!! I’m so excited!!! Your end of the year survey is my favorite. I forget how many amazing books I read each year until I fill this out. And then I’m reminded to me grateful about all the wonderful stories I read each year. Can’t wait to see your results (and my own!)!!

  10. I cannot WAIT to do this!! Thanks so much for hosting it, Jamie!! 😀

  11. The ladies of Girl Plus Book’s will DEFINITELY be filling this out.

  12. I just stumbled across this randomly and I’m so excited to do it! In fact, I’m going to go fill it out right now.

  13. I love this!! I can’t wait to do it. Are you creating a linkup? Also would you mind if I used your headers? they’re super cute! If not I totally understand.

  14. As I’ve probably said before, for some reason this end of the year survey is one of my FAVORITE posts to take part in for the year. It’s so nice looking back over the year ; something I look forward to for months

I have already started mine, but won’t be publishing it till closer to January 1st since I still have quite a few books ahead of me. Will be sure to link up here when done.

  15. Really looking forward to filling this out! This will be a fun way to reflect on the year.

  16. Just filled mine out and posted! Thanks so much for hosting each year, Jamie!

  17. This is fantastic!! Will definitely be doing this come January. Thank you!!!

  18. So I finally got my list created…it took me FOREVER. But I am looking around for your answers and can’t find them. Send me the specific link!

Here is my End of the Year Survey

  19. A thought I had for specific feedback is to add some questions about nonfiction selections and to reduce the number of questions by consolidating some of the questions in the blogging and looking ahead sections. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the whole process of looking back, thank you.

  20. I hope it’s okay that I translated the questions into German to put them on my blog. The article isn’t online yet – I have to answer all these questions first. 😉
many greetings from Germany and merry Christmas!
    Verena

  21. In terms of questions to add – how about something to do with audiobooks? Best audiobook perhaps?

  22. Thanks for hosting this, Jamie! I’ve been looking forward to filing it out for so long!

  23. Great idea Jamie, I loved doing this survey it was so fun!

  25. Thanks for hosting this again, Jamie! I always have fun reflecting back on my reading year while filling it out. I added an extra question to my survey this year — favorite book-based movie or show! 🙂

  26. I love this survey, thank you and Happy New Year!

  27. This was so much fun! Thanks for hosting 🙂 I just got my first one ever up today, and I loved it. You ask some great questions.

  28. This is my first time participating and it was so much fun! Long, but fun! lol I think it would be fun to also ask biggest disappointment book. One you really thought you were gonna love, but ended up hating or not liking. The other question is what book you just couldn’t finish, no matter what. I’m a debbie downer so, I think these questions are fun lol.

  29. I love this Jamie!! I borrowed it and it was so fun to do. I can’t wait to read your answers.
    Thank you!:)
