7th Annual End Of Year Survey – 2016 edition!!

My silly little survey I created for myself to highlight what I read in 2010 suddenly grew when a bunch of others jumped in and has turned into such a fun end of year event that I have LOVED hosting and has made my TBR list grow crazily! Seriously, 360+ people linked up last year and I know even more participated on their blogs and on Youtube!! So without further ado: the 7th annual End of Year Book Survey!

So feel to fill this out whenever you feel like it (please credit me!)…whether that’s today or in January   — I know everybody will want to reflect at different points! Feel free to link up and share your End of Year Book Survey and visit others on the list!

I’ll be filling mine out at some point soon in another post! 🙂

About Jamie

Jamie is a 30 year old married lady who is in denial that she's actually that old. When she's not reading you can find her doing Pilates followed by eating ice cream, listening to music with oversized headphones and having adventures with her husband and dog.

  1. Oh, I’m so excited to do this! It’ll be a few days before I get to it but it’s awesome and thank you so much for hosting!

  2. AHAHAHA I’m so happy to see this. Now I’m going to do this one instead of making a top 16. YOU SAVED ME FROM TORTURING MYSELF MAKING THAT LIST. Thanks. XD

  3. Ooooh thanks for this Jamie! I was going to to a boring best books of 2016 post (will probably still do one) but this looks much more interesting and thought provoking!

  4. Wow, this is amazing! Thank you so much for creating this. I’ll definitely write everythig down and post it by the end of this year.
Of course, I’ll credit you. 🙂

  5. I’m looking forward to participating this year! This will be my first year actually partaking, last year I loved reading everyone’s responses! Thanks for creating this fun survey Jamie!

  6. I have done this survey for the last 3 years and can’t wait to do it again! I always forget about all the great books I’ve read in the past year and then I do your survey and it reminds me how great a bookish year I have had!

  7. I am drafting my post right now and hope to post it at the end of this week. Exciting 😀

  8. This is such a great idea! I was trying to think of a way to recap 2016 without writing a ridiculously long post and this seems like the perfect solution. I’ll definitely have to squeeze this into my schedule within the next couple of weeks 🙂

  9. YAY I can’t wait to do this! Mine won’t be going up until the start of January (gotta get ALL those December books in!) but I’m already so ready 😀

  10. Thank you for creating this! I definitely had fun re-capping my year in books!

  11. Took me three days to finish this. *whew* and I haven’t yet read all the books I plan to read this year.

  12. Thanks for organizing this for us. Be sure to let us know when you have your answers up, too!

  13. I’m still reading to chase my goal of 100 books in 2016 so I’ll save this post and come back to the survey later. Great questions though.

  14. I am going to do this, because it is fantastic! But I need some time…I will link when I have it done though! Love your profiles <3

  15. I’m really excited you posted this! I was worried you weren’t going to this year since you’ve had so much going on. Happy Holidays!!!

  16. I am so excited to complete this for my blog! I will be doing it in addition to my own “Year In Review” post, but I love all your questions!

  17. Love this! hmm… do I have the energy and time to put my own post together… maybe I’ll just stalk all the others 😉

  18. Yeah! This was so much fun to do! I just posted mine on my new blog!

  19. This looks fun! So excited to post mine! Thanks for making this!

  20. Thanks for posting this! I picked it up from a friend’s blog and added my own link. 🙂 Happy New Year!

  21. Thank you for putting this together, Jamie! It’s way better than anything I could have come up with on my own!

  22. This is such a great survey!! I just had to do it. 😀 😀

  23. Always love doing these!!

  24. This is such an awesome idea! Thank you so much for sharing 🙂 It was so much fun to do!

  25. Yay, I really enjoy this survey! This is my fourth time filling it out. It’s a great way to compare my year of reading with fellow bloggers.

  26. Thanks for this survey! It’s my first year filling it out, and it took most of the day, but it was cool to go back through my year in books! Been really fun to look at everyone else’s year as well. HAPPY READING!

  27. Perhaps you could add a question or two about the books you didn’t finish this year? I put down two that I just couldn’t get into.

  28. I would probably add “books with the best/most memorable endings” and someone out in there in the blogosphere added “books with the best titles” to theirs. Thanks again for hosting this! It’s so fun.

  29. Thank you so much for making this! I just posted and linked mine. As for feedback, what about a “worst” section? I don’t know about every body else, but I love knowing what books people *don’t* like.

  30. What a creative, end-of-the-year survey you composed here. I follow a few book bloggers who answered your detailed, thinking cap questions. I’ll try to join in next year. Quinn’s Book Nook gave you credit which was nice because I had thought one other blogger did it herself (may have missed the referral to you though w/my speedreading eyeballs). Happy new year and happy reading to you.

  31. Thanks for hosting, Jamie! And sorry about #212 link, I accidentally linked to my about page and then corrected with #213 link, which links to the blog post. 🙂

Comment Policy:

Thank you so much for reaching out to me via comment. Seriously, it makes my day. I appreciate and read EVERY SINGLE comment. I do try real hard to reply to comments but I'm not able to do so daily and sometimes I get very behind because...well..life. You know how it goes sometimes! If I haven't replied back to you, feel free to tweet me so we can chat further as sometimes that is easier for me to get to when I'm on the go!
