7th Annual End Of Year Survey – 2016 edition!!

My silly little survey I created for myself to highlight what I read in 2010 suddenly grew when a bunch of others jumped in and has turned into such a fun end of year event that I have LOVED hosting and has made my TBR list grow crazily! Seriously, 360+ people linked up last year and I know even more participated on their blogs and on Youtube!! So without further ado: the 7th annual End of Year Book Survey!

So feel to fill this out whenever you feel like it (please credit me!)…whether that’s today or in January   — I know everybody will want to reflect at different points! Feel free to link up and share your End of Year Book Survey and visit others on the list!

I’ll be filling mine out at some point soon in another post! 🙂

Note: The survey is for books you read throughout the year, no matter when they were published, and is not limited to just books that came out in 2016!!

  1. Oh, I’m so excited to do this! It’ll be a few days before I get to it but it’s awesome and thank you so much for hosting!

  2. AHAHAHA I’m so happy to see this. Now I’m going to do this one instead of making a top 16. YOU SAVED ME FROM TORTURING MYSELF MAKING THAT LIST. Thanks. XD

  3. Ooooh thanks for this Jamie! I was going to to a boring best books of 2016 post (will probably still do one) but this looks much more interesting and thought provoking!

  4. I am drafting my post right now and hope to post it at the end of this week. Exciting 😀

  5. YAY I can’t wait to do this! Mine won’t be going up until the start of January (gotta get ALL those December books in!) but I’m already so ready 😀

  6. Thank you for creating this! I definitely had fun re-capping my year in books!

  7. Took me three days to finish this. *whew* and I haven’t yet read all the books I plan to read this year.

  8. Thanks for organizing this for us. Be sure to let us know when you have your answers up, too!

  9. I’m still reading to chase my goal of 100 books in 2016 so I’ll save this post and come back to the survey later. Great questions though.

  10. I’m really excited you posted this! I was worried you weren’t going to this year since you’ve had so much going on. Happy Holidays!!!

  11. Thank you for putting this together, Jamie! It’s way better than anything I could have come up with on my own!

  12. Always love doing these!!

  13. This is such an awesome idea! Thank you so much for sharing 🙂 It was so much fun to do!

  14. Yay, I really enjoy this survey! This is my fourth time filling it out. It’s a great way to compare my year of reading with fellow bloggers.

  15. Thanks for this survey! It’s my first year filling it out, and it took most of the day, but it was cool to go back through my year in books! Been really fun to look at everyone else’s year as well. HAPPY READING!

  16. Perhaps you could add a question or two about the books you didn’t finish this year? I put down two that I just couldn’t get into.

  17. I would probably add “books with the best/most memorable endings” and someone out in there in the blogosphere added “books with the best titles” to theirs. Thanks again for hosting this! It’s so fun.

  18. Thank you so much for making this! I just posted and linked mine. As for feedback, what about a “worst” section? I don’t know about every body else, but I love knowing what books people *don’t* like.

  19. What a creative, end-of-the-year survey you composed here. I follow a few book bloggers who answered your detailed, thinking cap questions. I’ll try to join in next year. Quinn’s Book Nook gave you credit which was nice because I had thought one other blogger did it herself (may have missed the referral to you though w/my speedreading eyeballs). Happy new year and happy reading to you.

  20. Thanks for hosting, Jamie! And sorry about #212 link, I accidentally linked to my about page and then corrected with #213 link, which links to the blog post. 🙂
