It always seems like I run out of things at the SAME TIME somehow. I thought it would be fun (well, at least *I* always like these videos from the beauty bloggers I follow) to highlight some of the things I’ve recently run out of or am almoooost out of and plan to repurchase AND ALSO to share some of the new products I plan to try soon because I keep a pretty detailed list in my bullet journal.
REBUY
1. Acure Deep Root Conditioner: If you’ve followed me for a few years you know I pretty much am obsessed with everything Acure Organics! I currently use their shampoo and conditioner (I alternate between those and the orange one), their dry shampoo, their day cream, their facewash and their face wipes. ANYWAYS I’m obsessed and I was looking for a nice deep conditioning treatment and I bought this this year and I REALLY love it. It smells so good (peppermint!!) and it does wonders for my hair!
2. Acure face mask: I was in need of a new face mask and I realize I’m to lazy to make my own so I tried this and I felt like my skin, when I’m using it regularly, IS more glowy and smooth. (Totally here for your recommendations for face masks you love because I like using different ones!)
3. Hynt mascara: I ordered this (in black) before I had Riley after seeing a beauty blogger I follow rave about it and never got a chance to use it until a couple months ago and I’ve LOVED it. I think I will probably switch between this and Zuzu Luxe which I’ve been using previously…just because that’s easier for me to stop at Whole Foods to get!
4. 100% Pure BB cream: I am SUPER late on the BB cream train but when I was pregnant I decided I needed something for after I had Riley (and honestly it became my staple before she even was born because I was lazy about makeup because TOO MUCH EFFORT WHILE PREGNANT IN THE SUMMER) that would be lightweight and easy to put on when I wasn’t going to have time to put on full makeup especially in the newborn days. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT. It’s going to be a crucial part of my makeup bag and definitely my staple in the summer!! So easy to blend it and it looks great! (I’m super obsessed with this eye cream from 100% Pure)
5. Zuzu Luxe lipstick: Okay so I’m kind of cheating because I’m not technically rebuying the shade I have right now (Beso Beso which I LOVE and definitely WILL rebuy when it’s out because I think it looks fantastic on me) but I’m in need of a new bright red lipstick so I’m definitely going to rebuy this brand but try a new shade of it!
Try
1. RMS Magic Luminizer: I’ve heard SUCH great things about this and since their concealer is like my latest holy grail concealer I MUST TRY IT. AND I love that I can buy RMS Beauty stuff at Sephora and get those points!
2. Herbivore Botanicals Sea Mist: As a curly haired girl I love a good sea salt spray! I was previously using John Masters sea salt spray which I really LIKE but I want to see if this one is better after I stumbled upon it while making my Christmas wishlist for my MIL and added one of their face masks (which a little birdy told me I’m gettinggggg lol)
3. NAILSINC nail polish: I currently only own Julep nail polish from when I did their subscription box for a year and I really like their stuff but I’m running out of a lot of them and I’m looking for a new 5-free nail polish to fall in love with! I am loving the colors that this brand has and could really use a lavender color!
4. Lily Lolo Eyeshadow palette: When I switched over to mostly green beauty products I couldn’t give up my Urban Decay Naked palettes. I just loved them too much. BUT I am out of both of them basically and now I need to find a green beauty palette to love and I was searching SO HARD and saw someone on a forum say they thought this one from Lily Lolo was decently comparable to the Nakeds so fingers crossed!! (PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR RECS FOR GREEN BEAUTY EYESHADOW PALETTES IF YOU LOVED THE NAKED PALETTES!!!)
5. Juice Beauty blush: I’ve used a couple blushes lately that I really do like but I’m always on the lookout for new blushes to love. I’ve heard great things about Juice Beauty so I think I’m going to try a blush from them first!

I don’t get the BB cream. What is it and what’s the difference between it and normal concealer? Also, I didn’t know you had your own blog separate from The Broke and the Bookish! How did I not know?? LOL

I pinned several of these items because I love to try new beauty products, too! A few months ago I had a good Juice compact but it had so little product in it, just felt like it wasn’t worth the price. Have you tried Tarte mascara? It’s one of my favorites. Zoya is one of my other favorite nail polish brands.

These are all new products to me, so thanks for sharing! I like the look of that eyeshadow palette, so might have to search that out. I have used a ton of stuff from Juice beauty — you should check out the mineral sunscreen face lotion and the green apple pregnancy peel. Those were my go-tos when preggo 🙂
