As you may know from my 24 Books To Read Before The Movie Comes Out In 2016 & 2017 post, I am ridiculously excited for this movie adaptation. I LOVED Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs and I’m really excited to see how this book will be translated on the big screen. Plus TIM BURTON IS A PART OF THIS (I typically love his stuff).
Everything I’ve seen from the trailer and sneak peeks online I have a REALLY good feeling. Like really good. Adaptations are so tricky but sometimes I just can ~tell~ when it’s not going to be a horrible adaptation and this one seems like it really is going to be good. It’s so cool to see it all come alive! I mean, look guys!!!

Thanks for hosting this Jamie! I just finished the book because I wanted to read it before I saw the movie. I’m so excited for the movie. I think it’ll be a great adaptation too. Another book to movie adaptation I like is The Notebook.

I read the whole book in 2 days and also loved it! I was worried I wouldn’t finish it before the film came out! I’m glad it was a quick read! It’s so cleverly written! I work in a special collections library with old photos and I think this is the coolest use for old photos I’ve seen!

We’re going to the movies tomorrow- and while I would love to watch this!- I think Storks is more of my 4 yo’s speed. =) My all time fave movie adaptations are the HP movies, I think they did such a good job bringing the books to life on the silver screen. Oh, and something I super love from the Peculiar previews? Eva Green’s voice!! =)
