Paper Towns was my first John Green novel that I read many moons ago and I remember not being able to read for a couple days after because it left me with so many feelings and so much to think about. I’ve always loved that about John’s novels….how it leaves me with both feelings and a lot to genuinely think about.

I’m so, so excited to see the movie adaptation of Paper Towns which is out today!!! I’m going on vacation before I’m going to get a chance to see it in theater but I cannot WAIT to drag Will out to see it with (the extent of Will’s relationship with John Green is sometimes following him on @sportswithjohn and really wanting to play him at FIFA).

Hmmm… I think my favorite John Green novel is actually Paper Towns. I read Looking for Alaska before getting into Vlogbrothers and hated it (so that definitely needs a re-read), but also enjoyed Will Grayson, Will Grayson. I haven’t yet read An Abundance of Katherines and The Fault in Our Stars was just okay for me (and not mind-shatteringly great).

My favorite John Green Novel is probably An Abundance of Katherines. However, I adored Paper Towns. Also, the best book to film adaption, that is so hard. However, TFiOS was a pretty good adaption in my opinion. Thanks for the giveaway!

From John Green I’ve only read A Fault in Our Stars and I LOVED it, so I’m kinda worried his other books won’t live up to the hype. I thought they did a really good job making it into a movie, too.

Ugh, I can NOT wait to see this movie! I was kind of meh about the whole thing until Cara was announced to play Margo and I just lost my whole mind. Here’s hoping it’s as amazing as my insane imagination is expecting it to be.

My favorite John Green Book is Looking for Alaska. Personally I don’t really watch book to movie adaptations, but my favorite will always be Gone With The Wind. The Fault in Our Stars was a pretty good movie though.

I just watched the movie yesterday (my review is going up in a few hours!) and it really pleased me. I think both of the adaptations of John Green’s novels have been fantastically done so far — especially in terms of the cast, oh my gosh <3
However, as for my *favorite* book to movie adaptation, I'd have to stand by the Harry Potter series, specifically the Goblet of Fire (but perhaps that's just because book 4 was also my favorite novel in the series haha). Everything about the Harry Potter movies is perfection — cast, set, soundtrack, screenplay, everything.

You know, I haven’t read a John Green novel. I’ve had The Fault in Our Stars forever and have always been afraid to read it. Finding Alaska is one I’ve wanted to read but am afraid to get into it. I’ve come to think of John Green in the same way I think of Nicholas Sparks. I feel like he is going to obliterate my heart in the same way Sparks does. I love comparing books to movies but always have to read the books first. I didn’t realize the movie was coming out this soon, either!

My fave John Green book is Looking for Alaska. TFIOS is so beautiful, but it hurt too much. Book to movie adaptations are hard… TFIOS was good. But I’ve loved other ones more. The Notebook is probably my favorite because that couple!!! I also loved the original The Shining movie. and Silver Linings Playbook took a book I didn’t even care for that much and made it into one of my favorite movies ever! Cool giveaway!!!!

One of my favorite book to film adaptations is Warm Bodies. I also love a lot of classic book to film or miniseries adaptations, including the most recent Jane Eyre film (2011, I think), the 2005 Pride & Prejudice, and the North & South miniseries (based on Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel).

I’ve really enjoyed all the John Green books I’ve read. I think TFIOS will always be special to me because it was the first of his books I read, but I think WGWG is my favorite. (How can you not adore Tiny Cooper?) My favorite book to movie adaptation is the first Hunger Games movie. I think they just did a really good job.
