I haven't ever had any collections. My grandma tried to get me to get into coin collecting but I was never interested. My boyfriend and his grandmother collect stamps. They have LITERALLY millions of them. I never have to buy them again. : )
Probably the creepiest one, though, is my grandma who was big into collecting things, ergo trying to get me to collect coins. She had a room in her house completely devoted to those little troll dolls. You'd be surprised how downright terrifying that is to a seven year old who accidentally stumbles into a room full of little trolls all staring at her! When she passed, I inherited that collection, go figure.

Let's see…my stepmom collects shotglasses from places she has visited (for display!) and I used to collect business cards as a child because I was nerdy like that. Nothing too interesting, I'm afraid.

This book does look intriguing, and the main character sounds like a fresh voice in YA.
I think the only thing we collect in our household is media including books of course, dvd's and vinyl records. So, the vinyl is the most unusual I guess!

I've never collected anything weird, just polished rocks (those multi-colored ones) and beanie babies when I was little. My brother used to collect shark teeth when he was about 10 or 11. That's the weirdest thing I can come up with.

My sister and I use to collect buttons. It started with my grandparents' closet in which a bunch of the coats had missiing buttons. We went on a hunt to find them but neber did, but that got us interested in collecting buttons. 🙂

I'm kind of boring… I collect movie ticket stubs and wedding announcements. My mom collects lighthouses. Oh, I collect Christmas ornaments! I get one for every place I travel to, and any special even that happens. I end up with 5-10 new ones a year. My tree is crammed full every December, but I LOVE it.

besides Bryer horses the only other thing i collect is magnets. Every time my family or i go to a new place i buy a magnet. The requirement is that i have to have been to the place the magnet was bought.

I have a small collection of guitar picks that have been thrown into the audience from concert shows that I've been to. I have a couple of drum sticks, set lists, and an old, dried sunflower also added to that – all of these things have come from the stage from shows. When I go, I try to aim for the front. I've been known to camp out for HOURS for that perfect spot. Not necessarily weird, but certainly fun.

As a little girl my sister collected toothbrushes. And paper clips. Needless to say her favorite character from Sesame Street was Bert =) I collected snake skins when I was in middle school– actually found one in a Ziploc bag in a box of memories a few weeks ago :O I love snakes but yeah, snake skins are pretty gross after a while, haha.
