So I originally recorded this vlog in which I talked about all of these books ANDDDD showed off my new nail polish from Julep and some yummy gourmet chocolate covered pretzels and popcorn. However, I went to edit it and the audio and my lips were not syncing AT ALL sooo that’s annoying as crap to watch. So my books had a photoshoot with my kitchen table — not nearly as exciting, I know. Sorry if it went too fast on the “Things Of Note” about each book. I didn’t want it to be TOO long up there but I kept testing out how long it took me to read it.
I’ll try next week for a vlog and let’s hope technology and I get along better. EFF YOU OUT OF SYNC VIDEO!

Glad you loved The Program because I am really looking forward to that one and I keep hearing more and more positive things so now I’m even more excited.
I’m starting A Corner of White after I finish the book I am reading now and I’ve heard great things about it from Mandee at VeganYANerds so I am hoping I will love it.
I really want to read SYLO but I hate the cover. Something about the color combinations on that one viscerally repels me. So I don’t know if I will read it because I really HATE that cover. Maybe if it goes through a cover change? This is one time I am actually wishing for that.
I am so, SO jealous of all of you that got copies of The Lucy Variations because Sara Zarr is one of my favorite authors. I always am amused over this. I am like a guaranteed positive review and they wouldn’t send me a copy. And I requested it TOO! And I like NEVER do that. But I so hope you enjoy it and I guess I will just have to wait until it’s out!
I am also amused by how many sequels to books you have not read you got over the last two weeks. That happens to April a lot too. 😀 Wonderful haul and I look forward to seeing your thoughts on a LOT of these. 😀 *cough* Sara Zarr *cough* LOL.

Syncing drives me NUTS with videos! I always have problems when I record on my Mac … but whenever I go to use my flipcam, the battery is dead. Murphy’s Law, I guess!
Another Little Piece is on my list …. it looks really good! I’m always looking for a good horror story! And Unnatural Creatures looks interesting. I love anything Neil Gaiman does — even if it’s just selecting books! I can’t wait to read The Lucy Variations — I have it on my shelf and it looks awesome! I love a book with music. 🙂

Every single book sounded really good. I am thinking about binge reading the Gone series. I have the first four books on my shelf and they are just sitting there. I am really intriged about The Program. It’s good to hear that you really liked it, it makes me even more excited to read it.

SOOO MANY! WOW, where to start girl…The Program is one I really want to try. It sounds right up my alley and has been on my TBR since I first got wind of it. Proxy and Unnatural Creatures are both ones I’m interested in, but not desperate for. I DO love short stories though. I can’t seem to resist them. ARGH technology can be such a pain sometimes — especially, I find, when it comes to recording videos, and editing them and such!!
However, I LOVE this way of doing a book haul. It still felt very “you” and I feel like it did a better promo/discussion starter then a lot of haul videos I’ve seen. Also, I loved that song — I’m going to have to check out the artists’ other work now too 🙂
As for the books, I squealed when I saw Star Cursed. SUCH a good series!!! I can’t wait for June so I can read what happens to the Cahill sisters, eek !
