We got our tree & some of our ornaments this weekend so this week was about all things Christmas! It’s funny because it’s our first Christmas together and we have NOTHING — no decorations, no ornaments — so we are starting from scratch! SO YAY! My Secret Santa gift from the wonderful Kate at Ex Libris
My Secret Santa was AWESOME and spoiled me! I got Beautiful Creatures & Hex Hall along with a Powerful Thoughts notebook, the cutest sticky pad notebook with birds and YELLOW on it (she must really know me!) and a Jane Austen notebook! WIN! I am a notebook fiend — I have reading notebooks, blog notebooks, life notebooks etc.
Then I got the coolest thing I’ve ever gotten in a Secret Santa — SPACE FOOD! Mint chocolate chip to be exact! The husband and I are going to try it soon! Kate works at NASA so sent me the space food along with NASA book marks, stickers and playing cards! SO COOL! I love getting gifts that are regional or related to my Secret Santa’s life so this was so fun and creative to me! THANK YOU SO MUCH KATE! I LOVE IT ALL!!

I am SO excited for Laura Buzo! I loved both of her books and I’m glad that her debut has made it to an international audience. 🙂 I had NO idea that The Miseducation of Cameron Post was so huge. I badly want to read Somelike Like Normal.
