Top Ten Tuesday, as always, is hosted at my other blog — The Broke & the Bookish
This week’s topic: Top Ten Favorite Travel Blogs
If I’m honest, I follow way more travel blogs than I do book blogs. I’ve followed some of these travel blogs since before I even started blogging myself in 2010. The travel blog section in my Feedly is definitely the place I go first and I’ve found that my favorite travel blogs are the ones that give the location reviews, tips and the pretty photos but also talk about travel (and their lives) in a personal way, the ones that feel like I know them, the introspective and honest ones and the ones you can tell care about their integrity when accepting the sponsored posts and the free press trips. Some of them share other interests — books and fashion and more so I always love catching up on that stuff, too. I’ve followed some of these for many years and some of these are newer in the past couple years (especially after some of my favorite travel bloggers from years ago stopped posting — I had a need to find more!!).
The ones I’ve been following for many years:
3. Free Candie (formerly known as Candice Does the World):
5. Twenty Something Travel (though she’s not in her 20’s anymore…have loved “growing up” with her)
My new favorites I’ve found in the past year or so:
7. Global Gal
Latest Find: Wide Sea, No Anchor — I juuuust found this blog recently and I am always DROOLING over the photography and how she captures these destinations.
So tell me…are there any travel blogs you think I should be reading that I might not be??

Travel blogs aren’t something I’ve looked at before, but will check some of them out. I probably will want to travel to loads of places though, so it could be dangerous!

I can spend hours looking (jealously) at photos on travel blogs. Have you seen this one?

Great list! I love reading travel blogs and from the ones that you’ve listed, the only one I’ve checked out every so often is World of Wanderlust. I also really enjoy reading the travels from the guys at Hand Luggage (http://handluggageonly.co.uk/); the accompanying photos are a bonus! Thanks for sharing these blogs, I’ll have to check them out 🙂

This is a great list! Currently, I only follow World of Wanderlust, but I’ve been on the lookout for more travel blogs. I don’t get to travel much myself for financial reasons but I love to read about the places other people go. I just wish more of these guys had bloglovin! But I’ll follow them on Twitter for now. I’m especial excited about Free Candie, gorgeous site plus she’s Canadian 🙂

You know what! I think I actually first found your blog through Candice (back when she was still Candice Does the World). :3 :3 :3

Thanks for the newer recommendations, especially! I’ve found myself needing some new travel blogs to read too. My personal favorite is unbravegirl.com because #relatable.

Wow! Thanks so much for including me in such a great round-up of amazing travel bloggers. I know most of the others but there are a few I still have to check out.
Best,
Sarah

I don’t follow any travel blogs. I’ve tried in the past, but I kept finding myself battling with my green-eyed monster who hardly ever travels.

YAY!! I love reading Global Gal too!!

I love your description of the travel blogs that made this list, “the ones that give the location reviews, tips and the pretty photos but also talk about travel (and their lives) in a personal way” so accurate of the blogs that are most enjoyable to read (and what I aspire to in my blogging as well). Thanks so much for sharing! I just got a bunch more new blogs to follow!
