Why I Added It To My To-Be-Read list: I had seen a couple people I trust talking about this one and I’ve been in the mood for some steampunk/alternate history.
What It’s About: It’s set in a world controlled by clock towers wherein damaged or destroyed clock towers can actually mess with time or stop it completely. Danny’s father has been stuck in a town where time has stopped and he has been trying, with knowledge of repairing clocktowers and the very fabric of time, to stage a rescue to get his dad back. But then he gets moved to a town whose clock tower is always a mess and the threat of bombings of towns nearby which are stopping time make it a race against the clock to save himself, the boy he loves (but shouldn’t) and his dad.

Why I Added It To My To-Be-Read list: I’ve been in the mood for ~domestic thriller~ type books lately and saw this one on Goodreads.
What It’s About: It’s about a woman, living a life of luxury in elite society with her husband, whose secrets from the life she left behind are coming back to haunt her.

Why I Added It To My To-Be-Read list: Honestly the cover grabbed me on when I was browsing on Goodreads and then I read the summary and was like “OOOOOH a travel-y contemporary YA book!!”
What It’s About: Gabi’s brother was wounded and in coma after sustaining injuries as a solider in Afghanistan. She had promised him that if anything ever happened to him she would walk the Camino de Santiago through Spain in his honor — with her brother’s best friend, someone she’s hated for forever.
Luke Cage
Why I Added It To My To Watch Queue: I loved Jessica Jones and I cannot wait to get his backstory!! I am so irritated that I haven’t had ANY time to watch this since it released. Hoping for a quiet weekend in November to dive in!
What It Is About: “While in jail for a crime he didn’t commit, Luke Cage acquires colossal strength and bulletproof skin as a result of an experiment performed on him. After breaking out of prison, Luke becomes a crime-fighting superhero. ”

Why I Added It To My To Watch Queue: I honestly don’t know where I stumbled across this but Leighton Meester and Debra Messing! And it looks cute!

Why I Added It To My To Watch Queue: I’ve been craving a good sci-fi show and saw a couple people discussing this one on Twitter!
What It Is About: “This sci-fi anthology series explores a twisted, high tech near-future where humanities greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide”

Kings of Leon — Walls
Why I Added It To My Listening Rotation: Kings of Leon is one of those bands where I’m hit or miss on them but when I love their stuff I REALLY love it. I’ve listened to a few songs from this one and am digging it. Hoping to listen to it in full soon!

Why I Added It To My Listening Rotation: I looove Saint Motel and I’ve been so busy that I forgot this came out on the 21st! I’ve listened to some of the singles that were dropped but I know what I’m listening to on my way to work tomorrow!

I have been getting deals on Alice Hoffman ebooks left and right, and I was approived on Netgalley for her latest. I think I have nine or ten of her books now, counting the Middle Grade she wrote that I have read. The Hoffman book I REALLY want to read is Practical Magic, but it never seems to go on sale. Ha ha.

1. I have seen so much about TIMEKEEPER this past week, I just need to dive in on that book as soon as possible! I hope you love it!
2. My husband and I have watched a little more than half of Luke Cage and so far we are loving it! I think I might like Jessica Jones more (but I think that’s just because Krysten Ritter is awesome and DAVID TENNANT was in it!) but it is really good! Joe and I actually still have to watch Daredevil which we want to catch up on before Iron Fist in March and The Defenders later on in 2017! I HOPE YOU LOVE IT! <3
3. Let's see two books that I recently added to my TBR is…. The Leaf Reader by Emily Arsenault (I have an eARC from EW) it comes out June of 2017 and it's about a girl who reads tea leaves and gets drawn into lots of secrets and a possible murder. Another one I added was… Textrovert by Lindsey Summers (another eARC from EW) it comes out May of 2017 and I'm hoping that it has a fun epistolary form!

LUKE CAGE!!! I absolutely loved Luke Cage! I have no clue what it was but I just loved that he was this superhero type that didn’t want to be and that he tried to always do what was best. There are some really awesome moments in there that I think everyone needs to see (like why people sweep at the barber shop and such) and I think it became my favorite out of all the marvel shows Netflix is releasing lately. I am currently trying to finish season 2 of iZombie because I am addicted and gearing up for another rewatch of Gilmore Girls so that I am ready for November 25 (because I AM SO EXCITED!). My husband and I also just started watching Westworld, which is also awesome.
Been adding a lot of 2017 releases to my TBR lately, because there seem to always be so many awesome new books coming out, but on my physical TBR I added (and then immediately started as soon as I got the ARC) Heartless and Ivory & Bone. Loving Heartless so far! Definitely will be looking into some of the books you listed as well!
Music…I have added Frank Ocean’s latest, the Luke Cage soundtrack (apparently really into the whole R&B/Hip-Hop scene lately), a few new releases from The Weeknd, and the Suicide Squad soundtrack (soooo good!).

I haven’t even finished Jessica Jones {even though my love for DT is overwhelming} and I know that I want to watch Luke Cage. Hopefully I can binge them soon.
As for music…I agree with you on the KoL thing. I haven’t enjoyed any of the stuff they’ve put out since Only By the Night, but I’ve heard a few songs off the new album and I’m hoping to love it.

Luke Cage was soooo great. I think you’ll really like it. There were so many great metaphors that directly relate to what’s happening out there now and the cinematography was beautiful. Seriously, exceeded my expectations and they were HIGH.
My boyfriend started listening to Accused and didn’t love it as much as Serial, but was definitely intrigued. I binged all 50+ episodes of Criminal this month. It’s a REALLY interesting podcast with 20ish minute episodes, each focusing on a different area of crime or an unsolved mystery. The topics range allll over the place so it was cool to listen to all of them!

I think I will start watching Black Mirrors soon. So many have told me to do so, and I’m surprised I haven’t because sci-fi… I mean, it just sounds something I would love. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

I really loved Timekeeper, I thought it was wonderful! And I can’t WAIT for When Dimple Met Rishi, it sounds adorable and the cover is super cute. I haven’t heard of Beneath Wandering Stars but that cover is eye-catching! Still need to watch all of the Marvel Netflix shows, Luke Cage looks so awesome.
