I’ve heard some good things and just received a finished copy of this one so I’m excited to pick it up! I typically don’t pick up teen pregnancy type books but I’ve heard this one does it really well sooo we will see!

An “I don’t even know what genre but it sounds awesome” pick
It sounds like it is a mix of fantasy and paranormal and has a retelling element to it? I DON’T EVEN KNOW. It showed up, I never heard of it and then I read the summary and I saw “the son of Frankenstein’s monster and the bride” and I was like YES PLEASE. I love a unique premise that is unlike ANYTHING I’ve heard of.

2 Books From Authors I’ve Previously Loved
I really loved Please Ignore Vera Dietz by AS King and this one sounds SO good as it tells the story of a boy who was, at 5 years old, thrust into the spotlight of reality tv.

I am obsessed with For Darkness Shows The Stars and I am SO PUMPED for this one that I almost wept a little when I got it at BEA. It’s a retelling of The Scarlet Pimpernel set in the same world as FDSTS. YEEHAW.

I think you’ll really like How To Love, despite the fact that it’s a pregnancy book. It’s much more about the relationships then any actual pregnancy.

I just got a finished copy of How To Love too! I’ve heard great things so I’m looking forward to reading it! And like you, I really don’t dwell much on books that are about teenage pregancy so maybe reading this one would convince me to look into such books more often. Picture Me Gone looks like a really good mystery novel! I recently got a copy of Rosoff’s How I Live Now but I still haven’t picked it up! Hopefully it’s good. 🙂 HOW CAN I EVEN EXPRESS HOW EXCITED I AM ABOUT JUST ONE YEAR HOW HOW HOW. I’m super jealous you’ve already read it! But ahhh just a few more days and I’ll be getting my hands on it too! *flails more intensely* As for other releases I’m excited about, I’m quite psyched about House of Hades and Allegiant! October is going to be freaking great!

Allegiant!!!!! It even comes out on my birthday which is even better! My mum thinks I’m slightly crazy as she asked for my bday list and Allegiant is the only thing on it! I’m slightly obsessed! 🙂

I’m seriously excited for Just One Year and How to Love. I’ve heard great things about both and I love books about relationships. I’m also looking forward to Eat, Brains, Love because I think it’ll be a quick, funny book to read in between some of the more serious ones. And, of course, Allegiant comes out this month. If I had your books, I’d definitely read Just One Year first. I can’t wait for mine to get here!

I am in love with the cover for Across a Star-Swept Sea. I have the prequel for that series on my Kindle, but I’m waiting until I can read book one right after. I’m moving in less than a month and the thing that excites me most is heading to the library for a card and a giant stack of books.

OMG, Man Made Boy sounds so crazy interesting! I hadn’t heard of it before, but Frankenstein’s creature’s son and Jekyll and Hyde’s granddaughters?!?!?! Sounds awesome. I REALLY hope it’s done well!

I actually didn’t really enjoy Picture Me Gone, but the ending was great and it’s thought-provoking. I haven’t read the others, but they all sound great!
