I apologize for this being the THIRD post of my day (I just HAD to post my birthday giveaway!)…but the awesome people at Paper Lantern Lit are giving me the chance to share an AWESOME giveaway with my readers in which you can win:
– A copy of Fury by Elizabeth Miles
– A really awesome t-shirt. See below:
– A chat session with the author! I know I freaking want to pick her brain after getting to listen to her speak at BEA!
If you aren’t familiar with the book, you can read my review of Fury or the summary is below:
Sometimes sorry isn’t enough….
It’s winter break in Ascension, Maine. The snow is falling and everything looks pristine and peaceful. But not all is as it seems…
Between cozy traditions and parties with her friends, Emily loves the holidays. And this year’s even better–the guy she’s been into for months is finally noticing her. But Em knows if she starts things with him, there’s no turning back. Because his girlfriend is Em’s best friend.
On the other side of town, Chase is having problems of his own. The stress of his home life is starting to take its toll, and his social life is unraveling. But that’s nothing compared to what’s really haunting him. Chase has done something cruel…something the perfect guy he pretends to be would never do. And it’s only a matter of time before he’s exposed.
In Ascension, mistakes can be deadly. And three girls—three beautiful, mysterious girls—are here to choose who will pay.
Em and Chase have been chosen.
– US only.
– Giveaway ends October 30 at 12pm. Winner will be chosen by a random generator.
– To enter- Leave a comment below with a way I can get in contact with you (Twitter, email, blog etc) and why you want to read Fury or about a time when you got some sweet sweet revenge…unless you killed someone. Then I don’t want to know. lol
As for MY sweet moment of revenge would have to be the time a girl in college stole some of my clothes. I may or may not have TPed her car.

I want to read Fury because it sounds fun! Hope that's a good enough reason. I'm not the vengeful kind. Boring, but I don't think I've ever gotten revenge on anyone for anything. At least, not that I can remember!
Thanks for the giveaway!

Mine is slightly similar to yours. A boy prank called us and was calling us names. His voice was completely obvious. We TP'd his house 🙂 It also rained the next day, which made it SO much better haha.

This book sounds wonderfully intriguing. I had a little fun with an ex boyfriend who cheated on me. It went quite lovely. It was like a kill-his-social life type thing. I never really did anything after that.

Happy Birthday!! 🙂
I am really looking forward to reading Fury. I love mythology, so that's usually always a win with me.
Hmm, the best revenge story… My friend Jen and I stopped to visit a mutual friend.. She wasn't there, but her "male appendage" boyfriend was.. he was just leaving, but let us in to wait for her.. He was beyond scum… He was total scum, and thankfully she eventually kicked him to the curb.
He happened to have a bottle of the that bod cologne sitting in the living room.. the Yellow one.. So Jen and I emptied it.. and too turns refilling if if you know what I mean.. lol. Gross, I know, but he deserved it..
years down the road we told that friend about what we did.. she laughed and said he used it all the time.. Sucker!
🙂 Hope you have a great birthday!

Happy birthday! I hope you celebrated in style 🙂
I'd love to win a copy of Fury because the story just sounds so very interesting! And hmmm, as for getting sweet revenge – well, a friend of mine posted this very embarrassing photo of me on Friendster back in the day. In her birthday tribute, I got her back by including a silly video of her 😉 Quite harmless, but still, it's sort of "revenge" I guess.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🙂
I can't say that I've ever really taken "revenge" on someone else. There have been plenty of times I may have wanted to, but I'm not the type of person to SERIOUSLY do something harsh. Generally, I'm a pretty big prankster though and I love prank revenge. I'm down for anything super silly 🙂

Soo, I want to read Fury because I /love/ to read/watch/hear about revenge, but I'm way to goody-two-shoes to ever do it myself. That's why I must live vicariously through other (even fictional) people 😛

I had a digital ARC for this, and never got a chance to read it. I would love it. Now for a time I got revenge, I have a tendency to be a bit petty when I am mad. There was this horrible girl in my sorority in college and she HATED the smell of tuna fish. So one day we were so mad at her that we hid a can of tuna in her room.

I want to read this book SO BAD! I swear everywhere I look every single person is like "Woah Amazing" and Im like no fair!
One time i got revenge is the time this EVIL girl took a note i was passing to my bestie about I guy I am in love with and she showed him I was humiliated.
But shes stupid enough to tell everyone her locker combo so i got her diary and may or may not have copied everypage and flyered the school. Pretty harsh but She deserved it for torturning me for years on end.

Oh my gosh. This plot sounds amazing, who doesn't love a good revenge story. Em and Chase sound like good characters and I want to see if Em gets the guy!
So, one day a boy broke my best friend's heart. To go out with her sister. We pranked called him pretending to be a teacher and said that he got suspended for three days. Nobody figured it out.
