My attendance here on this blog has spotty at best — much like my attendance to my one and only 8am class of my college career. I am so not a morning person; just like I’m apparently not a blogger who can also juggle planning a wedding and losing her job in one summer.
BUT HERE I AM.
I’m back. I’m married. Unemployed. Relaxed. A little tan. Ready to blog. And happy. Really, really happy and ready to start a lot of new things in life and on this blog. I’ve had posts half finished in drafts since about January. Things I’ve worked on and was really excited about but never finished because my real life was just too demanding.
I’m so excited for all sorts of new possibilities.
For the first time in about a year I feel so refreshed and renewed. I mean, let’s be real here…I was so stressed that the week leading up to the wedding I got STRESS INDUCED SHINGLES. Go figure! It could have been the relaxing honeymoon or the fact that the wedding planning monster has jumped off my back or the fact that I am not in fact sitting at a desk at a job I loathe. I don’t know what it is but I’m ready for all of the NEW.
I’m going to write up a proper wedding recap post at some point but for the moment here’s a sneak peak:
Stolen from Steph Su’s recap of my wedding. So happy April & Steph were able to come share this special day with me. Book bloggers = seriously real friends.
Our bookish centerpieces — vases are stacked on books, every table number had a different quote from a book on the back. Had John Green quotes, Charles Dicken, Suzanne Collins, ee cummings and more!
My gorgeous niece before the wedding!
Picture in the limo that my dad took of me. Love that my sis is cheesing it up in the background. Totally an us picture!
And that’s it for now! Now I go onward to tackle the huge list of books I read and need to review in the past month or so! I did some good honeymoon reading!!

Congratulations! What lovely wedding. Hope you’re marriage is LONG and HAPPY. I didn’t know you’re from Bucks County. I grew up in Warminster (well during my high school years anyway). And I got married in Willow Grove. Anyway, small world. Blessings on many good things to come.

Your dress looks gorgeous! But more importantly (although, I’ve heard the *right* dress is totally the most important thing) I’m glad to hear that you’re feeling better about life in general. It sounds like you’ve gotten rid of a lot of stress–crappy job, planning a wedding. I hope you’re now able to enjoy this time in your life.
