I find lots of interesting and wonderful things on the interwebs that I star in my Google Reader or add to my bookmarks and most of the time there they stay. This is my attempt to share them in the same vein as Yes and Yes’s Web Time Wasters and FYA Procrastination Pro Tips.

Tara from Fiction Folio reviewed Freaks Like Us — a book that wasn’t on my radar but now is thanks to her review!
Knowsprose.com had an interesting post called Adults Reading YA Fiction — What It’s Not — responding to an article trying to explain why us readers who aren’t of the YA age read YA. Hrrmm maybe if they read YA themselves they’d understand WHY we all read YA instead of formulating reasons that they think explain it all.
Anna got super creative during last week’s Top Ten Tuesday and matched some books she loved to a Halloween costume! Fun!
Both Estelle & Magan wrote really poignant and beautiful letters to their teen selves to celebrate the Dear Teen Me book coming out soon! Their letters confirmed even more why I love these two!

I feel like I am having a hard time coming up with some positive things to say about myself because of how I feel about not being able to find a job. YA does not mean that ONLY young adults can read it, people need to understand that! I always feel like I get funny looks for looking in the YA section in shops =(

I get those looks too once people realize I’m 27. But mostly people THINK I am a YA so I don’t get toooo many looks because I look so young that I fit in haha.

I have bangs too, and when I don’t want to wash my hair, I still wash my bangs. it is a little weird in the shower, but it works, and that way my bangs aren’t all wonky. I will look into that dry shampoo post, though.

So I totally made the sesame chicken today – well, except we made it with tofu. Next time we’re going to add less honey – it was a little too sweet for our liking. We added Sriracha and a teaspoon of mustard to balance out the sweet and it tasted pretty good! Thanks for sharing these links!
