As you know, I read Harry Potter for the first time at 30 and while I was the Harry Potter festival near my house this year I was thinking how sad it was that I have ZERO Harry Potter merch. NOTHING. All my friends have been accumulating their Harry Potter merchandise FOR YEARS and I’m starting now and have a long way to go. This Hufflepuff needs to GET ON IT. Although what to get first??

I like more of the subtle pieces personally (hint! hint! any family reading this) but I love how unique so many of the pieces are.
Alex and Ani Harry Potter Collection
I’ve got to say I’m pretty much I’m obsessed with all of the Alex and Ani Harry Potter jewelry and have a few pieces myself and think they are quality pieces to gift if you don’t want too expensive but you don’t want too cheap. My mother-in-law got me one of the Potter glasses wraparound rings for Christmas so I can say, with experience, that Harry Potter jewelry is one of the best gift ideas for a Harry Potter fan (if they wear jewelry). I was DELIGHTED.

Seriously even though I’m in my 30’s I find myself much rather adding touches of decor related to things I love vs being ~FANCY~. Plus I have a 2 year old so being fancy isn’t in the cards right now.

Have you noticed how little Hufflepuff merch there is? As a fellow Hufflepuffer (lolol I just made that term up) I get annoyed at all the Gryffindor and Slytherin only stuff (I was originally a Gryffindor for YEARS, might I add, but Pottermore changed it -.- rude). Most of my HP clothes are from Hot Topic and/or Primark. I also have a cushion that says “I solemnly swear I am up to no good” from Society6. I got a few things in the GeekGear Wizardry box in August 2017 and that had posters and a tiny Helga cup. It’s so CUTE! it’s funny how much merch is out now compared to when the films/books were being released. OH and I have most of the Funko Pops for HP! From the things you listed above, I love the books that turn out to be tiny drawers. aww

I have noticed that!! RUDE. Hufflepuffs are awesome. The first time I took a quiz it told me I was evenly a Gryffindor or Hufflepuff and for a while I thought of myself as a Gryffinpuff but then I decided to just choose (and took the Pottermore quiz on the site) Hufflepuff bc I think it’s totally me and the quiz agreed this time.

So many good things. I’m glad Primark these days has a lot of HP stuff so I can get some cute t-shirts. I love my marauder map sweat shirt. And I am currently sitting under my hp blanket. 😀 And I just got a hp bag. Christmas came early. 😉

I own quite a lot of Harry Potter merch but there’s so much I still don’t have and want on this list! Harry Potter clothing is my favourite type of merch – it’s practical and fun to wear! My favourites that I own are my Hufflepuff jumper, Ron’s Christmas jumper, my Hufflepuff scarf and these Marauders’ Map pyjama pants that are SUPER COMFY. They’re so soft omg.
That said, I love all other types of merch too of course haha. Hope you’ll get a lot of great stuff for Christmas!
