Why I Added It To My To-Be-Read list: I LOVE travelogues and used to read tons of them and saw someone on Twitter talking about it (I cannot remember whoooo I am sorry if it was you!).

Why I Added It To My To-Be-Read list: It was pitched to me and I accepted it for review consideration! Something about the summary just hooked me and to be honest I really don’t fully know what it is about.
What It’s About: “Seven tightly interwoven narratives. Three harrowing hours. One fateful day that changes everything.” (There is more to the summary on Goodreads/Amazon but it’s long).

Why I Added It To My To-Be-Read list: Reading it with some friends!
What It’s About: Four adult siblings are set to receive their part of a joint inheritance from their late father in mere months, something they are all banking on to solve their different problems, but they are in danger of not receiving it because of their reckless brother Leo so they set out to confront him and their pasts and present and all the things this money meant for their future collide.

Why I Added It To My To Watch Queue: I tried to read the comics but couldn’t get into them but felt like it could be a pretty cool and twisted tv show! I meant to watch it the night it premiered but just didn’t get to it buuuut I’m only a couple episodes behind.
What It Is About: “After a supernatural event at his church a preacher enlists the help of a vampire to find God. ”
Sing Street
Why I Added It To My To Watch Queue: Pretty much any movie that has a music element grabs me.
What It Is About: “Grappling with a difficult home life, 14-year-old Conor faces more woes when financial problems force his parents to transfer him from a private school to an inner-city public school. Looking for an escape, he forms a band with a group of classmates.”
In the Heart of the Sea
Why I Added It To My To Watch Queue: I mean, Chris. But also I love historical drama type things.
What It Is About: “Revisiting the incredible true tale of the whaling ship Essex, which was rammed and sunk by a sperm whale in 1820, this historical drama chronicles the crew’s horrific 90-day struggle to survive amid storms, hunger and despair.”
Band of Horses — Why Are You Ok
Why I Added It To My Musical Rotation: I’ve been a fan of Band of Horses since college and I’m so excited to listen to this more as I’ve only listened to bits and pieces of it!
Tegan & Sara — Love You To Death
Why I Added It To My Musical Rotation: Another long-time fave! I didn’t even REALIZE they had a new album out and even though their sound feels different to me these days I still plan to listen to it.
The History Chicks podcast
Why I Added It To My Rotation: I really enjoy Things You Missed In History Class (you can check out what other podcasts I’m into) and someone was asking for history recs so I gave the rec and saw someone give THIS rec so I HAVE to check it out.

I adore tbe cover of No Baggage! I read the summary of The Nest somewhere and was intrigued. It’s one of those books that I don’t put on my Goodreads tbr, but if I see it in the library, or see the ebook on deep discount I’ll pick it up. I just added Every Heart a Doorway to my queue and it was one of those books. I had read the synopsis somewhere and remembered the book when I saw the ebook for $2.99. One of my The Sunday Post buddies listens to The History Chicks. She really enjoys it. 🙂

Ah see I have such a crap memory that I HAVE to add everything I’m even slightly interested in to Goodreads. I made an exclusive shelf called secondary-maybe and to-check-out to help keep them out of my TBR — so the first one is stuff I DO want to read but it’s not the highest priority and to-check-out is for ones I haven’t really looked into yet but heard about and I just want to keep it there to remember.
I feel like I’ve heard of Every Heart is A Doorway recently! And yay I’m so glad you know someone who enjoys History Chicks! I can’t get enough of history podcasts!

I just finished The Nest as an audiobook. It was enjoyable enough and overall had some interesting characters.

You really need to see ‘The heart of sea’ I’ve watched it a few months ago to the theatre and it’s amazing: first of all Thor and Spiderman are in it, second of all I totally cheered for the whales.
Also Preacher caught my eye, it’s AMC if I recall right and there’s Rudy from Misfits in there. I will give it a try too.

I have added all books by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I’m currently reading After I Do by her and she is amazing. Highly recommend. I just added History Chicks Podcast. I’m very excited to check it out. You must add LORE podcast! I can not stress it enough. He is amazing and the stories are so good and well researched.

No Baggage and The Nest look really good! Up next on my TBR is PS I Still Love You by Jenny Han, and A Court of Thorns and Roses which I apparently never read!
I’m also really into the song Sun Shy by Dresses right now.

I love these posts, Jamie! I always end up adding something to my Spotify playlist! Have you read “Uprooted” yet? It’s not part of a series, but it was awesome! And Naomi Novic does have a fantasy series, which I’m hoping to try soon because I loved “Uprooted” so much! I’ve been on a fantasy kick myself lately. 🙂

YAY I’m glad to hear that! When I first started doing them years ago I felt like people really liked them but now I can’t tell these days so it’s heartening to hear that! I enjoy doing them and hope people find new stuff/like to keep up with the things I’m adding!
I haven’t read Uprooted but I own it!! Good reminder for me to get to it soon!!
