Top Ten Tuesday, as always, is hosted at my other blog — The Broke & the Bookish
This week’s topic: Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get My Grubby Hands On — so excited for these!

* Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi: If I only could get ONE of these sequels it would HANDS DOWN be this one. Tahereh Mafi, you are evil and awesome and I love you and I love this series. If you have not read it, please read my review for Shatter Me. If you read Shatter Me and need convincing to move on…read my review of Unravel Me!
* In The End by Demitria Lunetta: I liked In the After a whole lot though the first part was WAY better for me than the second just because of how the story kind of changed a bit BUT now I AM curious where this will go after what we learned. This series (can I call it a series?) is only 2 books so YAY for finishing things in two books because I just want to know.
* The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey: I really enjoyed The 5th Wave and I’m excited to get back into this world and story and see what other twisty stuff he will pull. PROBABLY going to need a reread though.
* The Treatment by Suzanne Young: I am in Edelweiss limbo here with this one and I’m dying. We read The Program for book club as part of a fun book club promo and I loved it and am dying to get my hands on The Treatment after everything that went down in The Program.
* Rhiannon by David Levithan: Sigh, Every Day by David Levithan. I freaking loved this book. I thought it was a standalone but it’s totally not. There is a companion to it told from Rhiannon’s perspective. NEED NEED NEED.
* Champion by Marie Lu: Ok, so this comes out on the day that this here list will be posting BUT as of right now my hands are ITCHING for this book. OH DEAR GOD. I can’t even contain myself at all. Definitely make sure you check out Legend by Marie Lu.
* The Blackcoat Rebellion #2 by Aimee Carter: This is bad. Book 1 (Pawn) isn’t out quite yet and I’m already dying for the sequel. If you like dystopian YA, I would recommend you have this one your list. My review will be published this month so look out for that!

* Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi: This is one of my most anticipated and it showed up here this past week. DYING DYING DYING. I need to finish my other obligations first so I can get to this one. Go read Under the Never Sky — the series just gets progressively better!
* Going Rogue by Robin Benway: I thought Also Known As was SO fun. I have never read a teenage spy novel and this was great! Also Known As completely stands on its own, FYI, so you should still check it out if you don’t want to get into another series.
* Cress by Marissa Meyer: I just get more and more excited about her books. I should have said I wanted to get my grubby hands on book 4 of this. I went to the Fierce reads tour and she totally talked about the baddie she was writing in it and WANT.
So tell me…are we dying together for any of these?? What other ones are you anticipating?

Alyssa @ Swept Away By Books says
I need Cress so badly, and I can’t for the life of me get a copy, so enjoy it! The Infinite Sea and Into The Still Blue too! Also, The Treatment was AMAZING!
Great list Jamie!

I have CRESS, too, and am eager to start it. And yes, IGNITE ME! I NEED–seriously, NEED–that book.
Chrissi Reads says
I can’t wait for Ignite Me either. I’ve been completely sucked in by the series. I also can’t wait to read Cress. I’m loving that series. I forgot about adding The Treatment to my list, but I’m looking forward to that book too.
Tiffany (AboutToRead) says
Didn’t realize there was sequel to Every Day. Thanks for the heads up!
Shannon says
Awesome List! I also got an arc of Pawn, I’m excited to read it now that you have said how good it is.
I have heard nothing but amazing things about the Shatter Me series.

You lucky duck you got Cress. :p That book is sooo high on my list. Champion would be on my list too but I still haven’t read Prodigy, I was really lazy with reading sequels this year *blush*
Very interesting list Jamie, you make me vow (for the thousandth time) that I will read The 5th Wave, The Program, Shatter Me & Under the Never Sky soon.
Crini says
The Infinite Sea is on my list too. Can’t wait to get it. I loved the 5th Wave.
I finished reading Prodigy last night. Would I have finished that one earlier, Champion would be on my list too. I really MUST have Champion right now.
Tanya says
I couldn’t agree more more Ignite Me and The Infinite Sea! The Shatter Me series and The 5th Wave have been some of my best reads of the year. Tahereh Mafi is a BOSS in invoking the feels! 🙂
Tara @ Hobbitsies says
Ooh, I actually haven’t read a lot of the first books on your list (or the second books, as the case may be for Cress and Champion). I didn’t even know there would be a sequel to Every Day! But I am dying for Ignite Me!
Andi says
I just started The Treatment this morning. I ♥ Sloane and James!!!
My TTT List
Kimmy says
Oh my gosh Rhiannon!!! This is the first I’ve heard of this book and I absolutely loved Every Day, so I am so excited for this book!
Andrea @ The Busy Bibliophile says
Rhiannon gets her own book?! I had no idea! So excited!
Anya says
It’s completely legitimate to want the sequel when the first book isn’t out yet! >.> *hides list* But really, since you’re likely to get an arc of #2 (Captive is the working title right?), it works! You’re just on an earlier schedule than the bookstores, hehe
Natalie says
You see, when I read posts like this, it just becomes clear to me how behind I am on all of my series!!! I either haven’t started some of these series, or I’m not caught up to the current book being released! I really need to get reading!!!!
Rebecca @ The Library Canary says
Ignite Me, Champion, Cress, and Into the Still Blue made my list as well! (though I also have my hands on ITSB and Champion should be in my mailbox today!!) The Infinite Sea and The Treatment! Loved the first books in both these series and can’t wait for more.
There is a companion novel to Every Day????? What????? How did I not know this???? This is the best news ever!!! I LOVED Every Day so much!! Omg, I’m so excited now!
Isalys says
IGNITE ME! I am excited and utterly terrified of that book because Tahereh Mafi is amazing and evil and only she can overwhelm me with so many feels! I honestly have no idea who Juliette is going to go with. I know who *I* want her to go with but me thinks I’m in the minority – lol
I’m also really excited for INTO THE STILL BLUE and CRESS 😀
Nahomi says
I can’t wait for Ignite Me and Into the Still Blue!
Ciara @ Ciara Reads Books says
There’s a lot of Champion and Cress going around today! I have yet to read The Program but I hope to get around to it soon.
Tiff @ Mostly YA Lit says
What do you mean there’s a companion to Every Day? *runs to GR* – how did I not know this?!
Great list – I’m sort of on the fence as to whether I’ll read The Infinite Sea. I liked, but didn’t LOVE The 5th Wave.
Here’s my TTT.
Kayla @ The Thousand Lives says
I’m still reading Unravel Me, but I already want Ignite Me too! And I’m in the same situation with you for Pawn – the first book isn’t out yet I’m already asking for the next one! I really hope Carter focuses on Knox more in the sequel… I love that man far too much to be healthy, I’m sure. The Treatment made it onto my list as well – I didn’t know it was a duology when I picked up The Program, but now I’m kind of glad there’s another book.
Rissi says
Woo! You’ve got some great ones listed here, Jamie. CANNOT wait to read Cress and it’s prequels. Looks and sounds SO good.

OMGOSH. Howww much do I need Ignite Me? I cannot even. And YES Blackcoat Rebellion! I just started Pawn and I already LOVE IT. Champion needs to be in my hands right now.
CRESS IS SOOOOO GOOD! Waiting for Winter will be excruciating! And I really need to start UtNS, don’t I? Yes. i clearly do. Fab list, Jame!

Fun list – Love the graphics 🙂
Reviews From A Bookworm says
A really great list. This is full of so many series that I am yet to read but can’t wait to get my hands on. I really want to read Tahereh Mafi’s series, but will probably wait till the third book is out before I buy them. Also really want to read The Program as it looks really great. So excited to finally be able to read Champion! And the ARC of Pawn means I now have an extra long wait till I can see what happens next, but I am so excited for that too. Great list. My TTT.
Christina (BookTasty) says
So, my husband and I just read Legend a few weeks ago and are both trying to find time to read Prodigy. I can’t even begin to think of Champion until I get to Prodigy. 🙂 Also Cress…YES!
Britt says

In order
The Treatment- Like I told you yesterday The Program was my FAVORITE read of 2013. I’m in Edelweiss limbo as well which I hate.
Ignite Me- Pretty damn self explanatory
The Blackcoat Rebellion- Reading an e-ARC of Pawn right now and I want the next book already.
Those three are the ones I’m most excited for.

Yes! Ignite Me is my number one pick too! Oh my I missed The Infinite Sea! I didn’t even know there was a title out already, so thank you for letting me know! Some of these sequels are on my list as well. I already read Into the Still Blue and it was a great ending! Loved it!

I am DYING to read Ignite Me! I must know what happens to everyone, and how Tahereh has chosen to wrap everything up. It’s one of my most anticipated sequels too. And I’m just as excited for Cress and Going Rogue, both of which came into my hands this week — I’ll definitely read them soon, since I don’t think I can hold out (especially in the case of Cress!).
