Why I Added It To My To-Be-Read list: I saw a review from another blogger and got excited because 1) it sounds awesome and 2) I really enjoyed Cindy Pon’s debut!

Outlander
Why I Added It To My Netflix Queue: I keep going back and forth about reading the book. I’ve owned Outlander for YEARS but really want to start the show. Adding it to the queue but think I will probably read the book first. THOUGHTS?

Why I Added It To My Netflix Queue: My hair dresser convinced me to give it a try plus I have always loved Rachel Bilson since the days of The OC.
What It Is About: “New Yorker Zoe Hart’s dreams didn’t involve patching up the locals in a tiny town in the Deep South, yet that’s exactly where the fast-talking city girl finds herself when she ends up inheriting a medical practice in Bluebell, Ala.”
Ryan Adams — 1989
Why I Added It To My Musical Rotation: Well it’s no secret how much I love Taylor Swift’s 1989 so obviously I had to check out what Ryan Adams (who I used to love a whole lot but not going to lie haven’t listened to in forever) did with it. I’ve only listened to it once but so far my though is: so very different but really good. Still love Tay’s original better but I dig this.
Lana Del Ray –Honeymoon
Why I Added It To My Musical Rotation: Because I’ve loved Lana Del Ray’s previous stuff so definitely wanted to check out the whole album. It’s REALLY in the queue I’ve made to listen to new stuff because I haven’t even had the chance to listen yet.

Why I Added It To My Musical Rotation: I had added her single Sorry to my August playlist and listened to it A LOT so obviously I was excited about her new album!

I’ve been loving Ryan Adams’ 1989 cover album and the new Lana Del Ray! The Ryan Adams 1989 covers have such a Bruce Springsteen vibe and I love it.

I’m on the same page as you about Outlander, I don’t know whether to watch the TV show first or to just read the book, I’ve heard so many great things about it but I’ve also heard it’s really slow at times which makes me hesitant! ARGH, I DON’T KNOW D:

I started Outlander the show but for some reason haven’t really gotten into it. I did watch the super-sexy episode (you’ll know what I’m talking about if you start) and it was…fantastic. I do think it’s totally up your alley, Jamie!
Heart of Dixie is adorable, I really enjoyed the first season (the second season was okay, and then I never finished).
The new Lana is SO good, Jamie – you must listen immediately! And I really really like Ryan Adams’ 1989. Metric just put out a new album, too, and it’s closer to their original awesomeness if you liked them back in the day of Combat Baby.

I just recently read Outlander and LOVED it! I started watching Season 1 and I’m really enjoying that as well. I’m almost to a point where I don’t want to wait for the discs from Netflix and might just buy it from Amazon. Ha ha. So good!

I watched the first half of Outlander Season 1 and loved it! Currently waiting for part two next week but I’ve been debating ever since whether to read the books or not. They are so big and there are so many. I recently added Air Awakens by Elise Kova to my TBR after seeing it pop up all over twitter. I’m excited to get to it!

if you’re interested in big magic, there’s a podcast for it as well called magic lessons. it’s basically elizabeth gilbert taking in listener questions re creativity and helping them with their struggles. i’ve only listened to a teeny bit of one episode but what i was heard was v interesting. i’ve been listening to the ryan adam’s 1989 album as well and i really like it too. i agree that it’s so different but it works so well. i definitely prefer the original as well because it was just such a strong album but i loved ryan’s spin! i think my favourites would have to be blank space, all you had to do was stay, style and clean!!

On Outlander…um…I LOVED IT. I went in thinking it would be okay (I was struggling through the book at the time), but OH MY, I fell in love. Try it. I think you’ll like it. 🙂

the three most recent books i added to my tbr on goodreads are a new hope: the princess, the scoundrel and the farm boy by alexandra bracken, through the dark by alexandra bracken and a step toward falling by cammie mcgovern! have you read any of them or have them on your tbr too? the show ive recently discovered and have come to love is scream. its really intense and scary. in terms of music, ive been converted to an alternative rock music lover over the course of summer lol. my fave right now is halsey! listen to her songs if you havent yet <333

What If was really cute! I watched the first episode of Outlander and then read the book before watching the rest. I thought that starting with one episode really helped me visualize things and get into the story better because it is kind of a slow start.

I watched the first four seasons of Once Upon a Time on Netflix. I’m so excited for the season premiere tomorrow! I really want to watch How to Get Away with Murder. The second season just started, but I need to watch the first one on Netflix first.

You are in for a treat with Hart of Dixie! I had my prejudices about it and yeah, it is not exactly the highest drama out there, but is one of those shows that is so damn easy to watch. Very often with shows that have 40 minute episode I end up checking how much there’s left at least once while the episode is playing. With Hart of Dixie, the episodes just flew by. Though it is not as well written as Gilmore Girls, my watching experiences with the two shows were very similar. With Hart of Dixie, you always know that there’s going to be a somewhat happy ending and that problems get solved. Rachel Bilson is also brilliant and has the cutest clothes! And then there’s of course Wade, who is absolutely charming…. I have always had a weird infatuation towards the American South, so I think that’s one of the reasons why I loved that show so much.

OH MY GOD WATCH HART OF DIXIE! Seriously it is so good. You will fall in love with the characters and their stories. The show just recently ended which made me so sad but the ending was so good! It has the perfect mix of southern charm and drama! And you will swoon over the men trust me. You will.

I recently added “Salem” to my netflix Queue. OMG! Its a historical show based on the Salem Witch trials, but from the perspecitve of the witches. In this series they actually are dark witches plotting something evil! The acting is amazing, the clothing and scenery are spot on for the time period!
I added Walk on Earth a Stranger to my Oct. TBR. Although it will have to wait until ater Six of Crows and my October Spooktacular TBR, so it may end up being read in November.
