Happy Sunday! Hope you’ve had a good weekend. Riley and I went to her first Purposeful Play class at a nearby community center and she had a blast! I learned that she doesn’t like maracas apparently but she loved the parachute time and bubble time!
- The Great Shelving Debate of 2018! Where do you stand? Me…I personally don’t care how people shelve their books. Do you, bookworm, do you.
- So this week it POURED and I had to go out during like a torrential downpour and I went to grab my umbrella from my car (basically it stays there and I rarely use it) and to my horror it was broken so I ended up looking like a drowned rat whilst standing outside at the pickup for preschool for the boy I nanny. SO I need a new umbrella. It’s one of those things that I just never used to care about because I would never use it anyways (literally my umbrella is from when I bought it in college at H&M..super cute black and white polka dotted one!). But now I’m just over having to go out in the rain without an umbrella. I tend to like cute/statement umbrellas if I have to lug it around so here are a couple I’m thinking about buying (I’m leaning towards the H&M one because my last one lasted FOREVER). Let me know if you have a cute umbrella and where I can find it/tell me which one you like best!
- Totally added all of these books on this book list to my TBR!
- This article is exactly me!! So sick of all the people saying “you will change your mind!” I won’t. Will and I, before Riley was born, already knew we only wanted one kid. Sometimes I DO think aw man she won’t experience having a sibling like I did but I know she will be just fine.
- Sooo, as you might know from following these posts through this Winter and Fall, I bought A LOT of sweaters/cardigans (and I didn’t even tell you all of them!) so I’m kind of on a sweater buying ban for a little bit…..but then I saw this one. They have it in pink too and I kind of want both of them. (Sidenote: is there any particular thing you have a million of and don’t need more of but can’t help yourself and need to buy it?? I’m justifying needing this one because it has a hood and I don’t HAVE any that have a hood. Logic, right?
- I loved this article about how to parent with more empathy and grace! I needed to read this for sure.
- I’m getting these gloves! I can’t tell you how annoyed I get to have to choose between warm hands and being able to use my phone (first world problem). These look perfect!
- I just saved this to make sometime soon for dinner (and by make..I mean Will absolutely will make it; not me)

Gah, I totally understand the umbrella thing. We have a sort of set rainy season in our country, so when the season’s over, I remove my umbrella from my bag. And I swear, the day that I do, it always ends up raining which sucks! D:
THE SWEATER IS SO CUTE! I usually don’t buy super thick ones since it’s always hot here, but I have a sort-of thinner, cardigan version of that one and it’s so cute and matches everything! <3 <3 <3

Omg you have luck like me!! I seriously never grab for an umbrella and then THE ONE TIME I DO it’s pouring and I have to stand outside. GAH.
Right I was thinking that color is a good color to match ALL THE THINGS. I have a couple of cute cardigan sweaters that are hard to match but this color seems like I would have zero problem.

Omg…that wine holder is the best! Ugh, I miss wine. I could totally go for some right now – I had such a sleepless night! I’m nearing the end of my second trimester, and it scares me how much I am having nights like these haha! I’ve also been battling a sore throat since last night, and the list of things I can take for it is discouragingly small.. 🙁
Also I’m still struggling with the idea of having one or more children…I don’t exactly dislike being pregnant, but I’m trying to imagine being pregnant with ANOTHER CHILD ALREADY and oh man… since this time around I’m having a boy, I would like to try for a girl eventually though! I was a single child and still to this day, I get pangs of jealousy when I go to my aunt and uncle’s house where they’ve raised FOUR wonderful children, and they’re so close-knit and supportive of each other. It would’ve been nice to have that.
I also always leave my umbrella in my car – probably not the smartest move lol I need a house umbrella AND a car umbrella!

There have been sooooo many awesome Kindle deals lately, and I put myself on a Kindle-buying ban because I already have so many ebooks that I have not yet read! Reconstructing Amelia is one I hope to read soon as well! That unicorn bottle holder is HILARIOUS!!!!!

Tactile gloves that allow you to use your phone are worth their weight in gold. You will immediately throw out all of your other gloves and wonder why you waited so long to buy a pair!
Jamie says
I’m mad nobody told me about these!!!!
