Happy Sunday! Hope you all had a good week! This week was looooong but this Mother’s Day weekend has been lovely — getting ready to head off to brunch soon!

- I obviously think a lot about parenting and it’s funny to think about reality vs expectations and think about ~my parenting style~ before having a kid and after actually having one. I’ve been finding that, while I do like reading books about parenting/baby stuff, I’m finding it more enjoyable to just go with my gut and the knowledge I have of MY kid. I’ve actually been fascinated by reading about other cultures and what parenting looks like so I found this to be an interesting read!
- So we ran to Target yesterday in between Riley’s Purposeful Play class and an open house for a house for rent to get diapers (because UGH YEAH somehow we were out) and I wanted to look for a new wallet real quick bc the zipper on mine completely busted (got this one). I SAW THIS DRESS and am obsessed and just ordered it because they didn’t have my size (the reviews are rave and I’m glad to hear it looks even better in person than on the hanger). I also ordered this romper too. OOPS. You know I’m obsessed with the Universal Thread stuff. Everything I’ve gotten has been good quality and flattering!
- You guys, I was following this story and it’s WILD. Your thoughts? The most interesting thing is that people I knew OUTSIDE the book community were talking about it.
- This was a good read for me as I’ve been thinking about career shaped things.
- So I signed up for Kindle Unlimited when they were doing the 3 months for $1.99 because I have been curious about it. What books have you enjoyed on there?? I’m reading this mystery/thriller off there right now and have a couple in the queue but would love to know your best ones!

I watched Eurovision last night and then went to bed after being awake for 20+ hours. Didn’t fall asleep until 2.45 or so. Luckily got to go back to bed after breakfast for mother’s day. <3 And we went to a nearby city and went to a bookstore. Like I didn't have enough of those haha. I saw some skirts I really liked but I'm so self-concious right now about my weight that I'm holding back a bit.

We spent yesterday puttering around at a neighborhood art walk. Today ran a 5k and then had a picnic with our l.o. in the front garden. Our latest find is the music of Caspar Babypants. Also, I’m obsessing over finding a new place for out little family as well. The market in Seattle is craaazy though.
