Odds & Ends

 

Happy Sunday! Hope you all had a good week! My last week was pretty rough because so many of my close friends are going through some REALLY hard things and my heart hurts for them. Then I got a call from my dad that my uncle got in a motorcycle accident and lost his leg. My heart just HUUUURTS. Too much.

But I’ve been trying to find some joy in the little moments with my homegirl:

 

 

• So I’m still taking question for my Q&A. Omg I am SOOO excited to answer your questions…so many good ones. The main ones I’ve gotten are blogging and mom life related but some fun personal random ones. YOU GUYS THIS IS SO FUN. Ask away! I’m happy to answer most anything!  Here’s the form!

 

• You guys!! I’ve raved about them like 100000x before BUT MY ALL TIME FAVORITE LEGGINGS IN THE WORLD are on sale at Express right now as well as the latest pair of jeans I bought from Express. I think I’m going to get them in the darker charcoal color now too because I am LIVING in them. And if you have a baby girl, all of Riley’s new shoes are SUPER on sale!!! See below:

 

• There are so many good President’s Day weekend sales going on right now and I have like 50 tabs open on my computer right now. Here are just a few of the things in my cart right now.

• Added this book to my TBR immediately when I saw it because I believe in the power of amazing female relationships. I know they have been life-changing in my life.

 

 

• There is A LOT going on in publishing right now and it’s important. I believe them. Deep down I’ve always known, just like other industries, we had our own problems and this just puts it all on display.

 

• A Wrinkle In Time was my favorite as a kid and I’m so beyond excited for the movie (obsessed with Ava Duverny..Queen Sugar is one of my favorite shows) and this list of 11 sci-fi books written by women to read while you wait for the movie is amazing and I need to get reading!

 

•  Thought-provoking read on female friendship and forgiveness!

• People can say how fearful they are of the future because of the generations coming up but NOT ME…I think they are going to save things that past generations messed up. This speech was powerful and it makes me furious that it’s even needed.

 

 

• Two weekends ago we went to the Trenton Punk Rock Flea market which was so fun and I got some awesome things from some of the vendors and I think you should check them out (love supporting local businesses:

 

I got this beauty from TweeStitch (she had SO many good ones and some amazing enamel pins!!!)

 

I got a Little Women tree ornament from Upcycled Library — she had soooo many amazing things made out of upcycled old books!

I also got a cute onesie (I don’t see it for available on her Etsy) for Riley from Oh Rexy Threads who has some of the coolest shirts (kids and adults) available for sale. I NEED THIS Steve Harrington “Mom of the Year” shirt.
