- Another YA book to movie!!! Woo! I haven’t read this book but I own it! Always excited to see YA head to the big screen though. Have you read this?
- If you follow me on Instagram and saw my IG story you will know that I went into Target for diapers and I left with diapers plus 3 new sweaters for myself and two items on clearance for Riley (like 3 bucks each). OOPS. But, IN MY DEFENSE, they were on sale…so like…super obligated to buy them!! I got the ones below. I have to say…I am obsessed with a lot of the Knox Rose stuff…I had to really limit myself.
Sweater 1 (wtf hat does this model have on…anyways, I LOVE how this fits me & how it drapes)// Sweater 2 (this color is so pretty in person) // Sweater 3 (I got it in grey and it’s soooo cozy..probably the coziest sweater I’ve ever owned!)
- Related to my Target trip…I tried on this sweater with ruffle-y bell sleeves and I cannot figure out how I feel about them. I see SO MANY fashion bloggers I follow rockin’ the ruffle sleeves (with the bell sleeves and without) and they look amazing on them…but then I put them on and feel like a clown? I have a few bookmarked from various sites that I think I like and are cheap (because I refuse to spend a lot of money on a trend that can’t blend into my wardrobe naturally over the years when it goes out of style if that makes sense) but I just don’t know! What do you think? These are a couple I have saved.
- Loved Hannah’s post about finding time to read as a mom (or just a super busy person)! Suuuuper relevant to my life right now and I agree wholeheartedly with her. Even before Riley it was a personal pet peeve of mine when people would act like I just must have no life because “I have time to read”….I MAKE time. I ranted about this topic many years ago!
- I feel VERY obligated to tell you about some of the very perfectly Fall dishes we’ve (my husband) made recently that were SO GOOD — this chili stuffed acorn squash, brussels sprouts gratin, and MY NEW FAVORITE CHILI.
- I cannot wait for this anthology!!
- Definitely checking out these holy grail organization products because I feel like my apartment needs some organizational TLC between our stuff and Riley’s stuff!!

Troublemaker by Leah Remini ($2.99): (I love her and have been wanting to read this…I can’t help my love for Hollywood memoirs…anybody else?? Plus the whole Scientology thing…I want to KNOW THE THINGS).
Behold The Dreamers by Imbolo Moue ($2.99): (have been wanting to read this after a friend recommended it!)
Life & Other Near Death Experiences by Camille Pagan ($1.99): (I don’t remember where I heard of this one but I totally forgot about it so I’m excited that it’s so cheap right now!)
Fractured by Catherine McKenzie ($1.99): (I have really enjoyed this author’s other books and had gotten this out at the library but had to return it before I read it so YESSSS MAJOR SCORE!!!
Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Stout ($2.99): (this has been on my TBR for forever and I refused to watch the HBO miniseries until I read it)
An idiot girl’s Christmas by Laurie Notaro ($1.99): ( Back in the day I was obsessed with Laurie Notaro..I Love Everybody and Other Atrocious Lies made me almost pee my pants laughing…but I never got to this collection. TOTALLY what I need this holiday season
Second Helpings by Megan McCafferty ($1.99): ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SERIES EVER EVER EVERRR. This is book 2 so you should probably just get book 1 somehow and have this ready for when you finish.

First & Then is so cute!! Lol I just commented on your other Odds & Ends post about how much I love Target sweaters! I love the ones you bought, I have to go look for them! And I am not a fan of the ruffles trend at all, those sleeves do not look good on me haha. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving week!!

You are making me want to go to Target and check out all the sweaters. I am in need of new sweaters. The ones I do have are drab and old. I got two new ones, one light gray and one black. I made the mistake of washing them together. They were both really fuzzy, and the fuzz from each transferred to the other. So, now I have two brand-new sweaters that look old and worn-out, and I don’t know what to do about it other than pitch them and start over again.
I hear you on the bell sleeves. I do have two shirts with bell sleeves. I’m not certain how I feel about the way they look, but they are comfortable at least. So, I’m going to go for it and keep wearing them for as long as they remain in fashion.

I got two from Loft and one from Nordstroms. I killed me to put the two new sweaters into the donation bin, but I couldn’t wear them. They were horrible. It makes me so mad!

Definitely interested to hear what you think about Dark Breaks the Dawn! I saw it was on sale but hesitated on buying it because the reviews from people I follow are not super positive. I’m curious about it but I think I may grab it from the library instead of buying it.
Also: I LOVED First & Then, and I highly recommend Tamora Pierce! If you haven’t read her, start with her Song of the Lioness quartet (first book is Alanna: The First Adventure). The Trickster books take place after that series and feature the main character’s daughter, so if you go straight into those you may encounter some spoilers for the original books.

I really enjoyed Troublemaker – I’m also addicted to Leah Remini’s show about Scientology on A&E – for some reason I am always fascinated by cults and how people get involved in them.
